Ohhhh, part two would be great!! And yes, it /is/ very helpful, I'm slowly but surely starting to spot differences and similarities, recognize patterns. It doesn't work without your commentary (not on these but most of your videos 😅) yet but it's a first step!

"wubwubwub" got me lol, future bass is probably my fav subgenre of edm btw.

Yuri has so many hits despite never being a serious soloist it’s crazy

other differences in trap (hiphop) & trap (edm) coming from a music producer trap (hip-hop) the beats will mostly be bouncy like a kick each beat 2 hi-hats each beat and snares depending usually more very compressed kicks usually a triangle like hi-hat - the song in general would usually be hard hitting and a rap based song. mostly in the darker type. mostly not as hard hitting. trap (edm) beats are similar but more of an electro feel. more bass based big beat drops and a bit of inspiration from dubstep. has more of a fun(?) atmosphere than hip-hop
