Hi, this is Stephen Key and Andrew Krauss. We are here to help you make money from your ideas. We started our company inventRight over two decades ago to teach people how to license (aka rent) their ideas to companies in exchange for royalties.
This process is called “product licensing.”
On our channel, we show you exactly how you to take an idea and license it to companies in exchange for passive income.
Today, you do not have to start a business to make money from an idea.
With product licensing, you don’t have to write a business plan, raise money, manufacture, market, sell, or distribute any longer.
Visit our website inventRight.com for more information.

    I thought such services don’t exist. Glad to know it’s an actual job! Now I can pass my ideas to a firm of patent agents and they could do the research and patenting.

    Thanks Stephen and Kevin for discussing the benefits of working with a patent agent. Maybe you guys can enlighten us more about what types of products would benefit from a combo.

    That’s a good question. Maybe a provisional patent application, filed with a patent agent.If it’s a big idea, you might want a larger firm if you think litigation is possible to file the non-provisional patent application.

    How are you Stephen? I recently seen an older video of you talking about an inventor would be lucky to get 4 or 5 percent of your idea or product. I would like to know why is it the other way around for example on Shark Tank,The inventor owning 70 or 85 percent?

  • @inventRight

    @inventRight

    On shark tank, you’re talking about percentages of equity of the business. Not royalties.

    @@inventRight I understand what you are saying but 4 or 5 percent to me is ridiculous

    Thanks for watching. It always comes down the math. If you manufacture yourself, your net profit is probably 20 to 30%. If your license your idea to a company your royalties would typically be 5% with no risk whatsoever and better distribution. Much better distribution! In essence a better chance.
