A long time ago, around 06-08, a really dear friend recommended breaking Benjamin to me, and diary of Jane was the first song of theirs he had me listen to. They ended up becoming a band I love, I still have a lot of their songs on my MP3 player, they were a big part of what shaped my taste in music. That friend passed away in February, and I always think of him when I hear diary of Jane, so I’d like to say thank you, first to eleven, for making an amazing cover of it, you’re awesome

Breaking Benjamin is hands down my favorite band, their songs helped me get through a lot of hard times. Bens vocals just hit different, but these covers with female vocals are pretty well done and good in their own right.

Her vocals and the raw acoustic are a compliment to its self.

There's a rawness in the second chorus that I really love and I feel has been missing in rock covers up until this one. This song has earned a place in my playlist.

Honestly thought this wasn't going to sounds right since Benjamin Burnley's voice is so tied to this song mentally for me.. but you killed it.

This girl SLAYS these songs! She'd be such a good clean vocals supplement in ANY metalcore band. Edit: 2:50 is what sets her apart. Beautiful yet intense!

I've been listening F211 for years and it's amazing how they keep oudoing themselves everytime. Amazing work as allways!!!

This is the first rock song in which I’ve been genuinely impressed with Audra’s rendition. A lot of the time, when she sings a male lead song in the genre, she goes low and plays safe, but I heard a lot of growl and pitch changes that made it sound really good. It’s super hard to emulate this song, especially for someone who doesn’t normally growl and never screams(thus, not being used to making sounds like that), so to pull this song off *so freaking well* makes it beyond impressive for me.

I've watched almost almost all of First to Eleven's covers and have been impressed by 90% of their renditions. Burnley used vocal finesse to set himself apart from the pack--a gimmick--and it worked. Fto11's cover is a worthy endeavor, just like most of her--and her band's--work.

This is IMO the best cover of this epic song - i love the energy and fun the singer gives off and the band is so killer. Diary of Jane is an American classic and will endure for a long time!

Even after all these years, I still get goosebumps hearing some of y’all’s covers. This may be my favorite. Great job
