Like Pastor Doug, I went through just about every church denomination you can name. Born a catholic, raised a Methodist, as an adult, joined the African Methodist Episcopal church, joined the Baptist church, and attended the Holy Spirit Ministries holiness church and attended two mega nondenominational churches. I found Yahweh in the Seventh Day Adventist church in 2016 because I diligently sought Him all the way to the internet. What a journey!! In Jeremiah 29:13, the Lord says, "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." I am a Believer! Praise God. Hold on to the Faith.

I have many many relatives who are not saved. The are all very secular. They do not even want to know about Christ and His saving grace. Many are in the Roman Catholic Church but they do not even know the doctrines and precepts of this church. If they knew about this churches history they would run out so fast leaving only the wind behind them.

I very much relate to your plight but I can assure you although even my own family turned on me when I said Halloween was not a “holy day” for Christians, I knew it was the truth that had offended them. We must be prepared to be attacked to the uttermost extent for our beliefs. To be persecuted by what will be the majority of the world telling us we are wrong and the plain Biblical truths we hold are the root of the worlds problems. I just wanted to encourage you to continue to speak out on any platform available to you about Biblical truth every chance you get because it is not only the right thing to do, but you never know what seeds may be planted while others are lashing out because they are offended by the very truths Jesus lived and in fact embodies as He is the Truth.

I am so happy that the 7th Day Adventist Church talks about modesty. I no longer wear pants or any type of clothes that make my fellow brethren to stumble. I have tattoos, and have repented and do my best to cover them up. We ought to honor our body inside and out, because of our love and obedience to God and love for our fellow neighbors.

I remember when the Adventist church founded on women wearing pants instead of a nice dress and it was really founded on if a women wore a sleeveless dress. Now women wear all kinds of things, even spaghetti steps. The modesty has become less and less in our church.

When I was in high school they had a competition each year in which several couples would dress up, the male as a female and the female as a male, and then they’d walk out in front of all the students and whichever couple was the best won. Looking back on it now, it blows my mind that the school would encourage something like that. It was meant to be funny, but there’s really nothing funny about disobeying God.

Amen, Miranda, and our denomination is so infected with apostasy, individual SDA Christians MUST beg God for discernment and protection from what is in our own midst. Which I deem to be far, far more dangerous than anything outside of it. This is something the majority absolutely refuses to address, believing anything and anyone tied to the denomination is A-OK. Absolutely lethal for individual salvation!

Sabbath was given to men (human) so we might get to know him. And it's true . Obey and trust 100% in Jesus so you won't have fear. He visits us on the Sabbath. Seek him and get to know him so you can truly love him and receive God as mark .

I praise the wonderful Lord Jesus for this. This is what we need to get and stay on track. We, including me, need to pray more for the Holy Spirit to take every area of our lives. And to give us the desire to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and be not conformed to this world. And next to make the Bible our favorite object. Our go to thought when bad things come. Then to ask the Lord for obedience in our heart, so when we learn something, we just trust the Lord and do it. And learn to be Bible students enough to be able to share live changing faith with others, this comes from practice sharing our joy in the Lord! We should be joyful. We are most blessed!

I’d like to suggest an excellent teacher regarding the health message , Mrs Barbara O’Neill. Her lectures are so important right now to the body of Christ and have changed my life and as well as the people I share them with. So true, brilliant, and Batchelor isn't the only SDA preacher that beats around the bush more often than not. We are living in the days of Matthew 24, and sharing the end-time Gospel, NOT the general Gospel. Jesus, after telling what to expect just before He comes, says "And THIS Gospel shall be preached into all the world, and THEN shall the end come." Our churches and teachings have become evangelical so as not to offend anyone. In so doing they have fallen away from what God actually says, and neglecting Matthew 24 is a grave error. Many in the church and world will be lost because of it, this watering down.

Pastor Doug, thank you for all you do. I'm first and foremost a Christian. I'm a member of Catholic Church but do believe many SDA teachings. I've attended a SDA Church in past, and if I lived close to Granite Bay, I would love to attend. I watched you and others years ago and I've been watching you and others on KZread for over a year now. I listen to several different preachers, ministers and priests from different Christian denominations. Christians aren't just in one denomination as you've said before. To get to the point, I'm a truck driver right now. I've felt a strong pull for at least 8 months to be a Sabbath keeper. I don't plan to leave my church, but I've been resting on Saturdays, or trying to for awhile. I saw about the abortion drama that has afflicted your denomination. Babylon can show up anywhere. Just like your video about the devil going to Church... Thank you for standing up for life and for all of God's commandments and not just one. Your videos and Amazing Facts minister to me a lot. Keeping the Sabbath but performing abortions is an abomination against GOD. Anyway thank you. Please keep me in your prayers that I may find a job that allows me to honor the Sabbath, and also that I might find a good SDA Church to attend nearby. I may not join but I would like to find an SDA Church where people honor life as well as the Sabbath commandment.....Actually where they honor all of the commandments and not just a few. One thing that always got me was how the ones I attended always recited the Sabbath commandment. I personally think if a Church is going to recite one commandment each week then they should also recite the other nine. Maybe that way people can think about all of them, and perhaps the abortion issue could've been avoided. I saw your response to that one so called doctor. Thanks for all you do. @@EricSaavy You have a few correct points but over all you are just as much in error as the S.D.A. are. First off, no sane being, far less the supreme Creator, would place his creatures in an eternal conscious torment for violations which spanned less than 200 years or let us say 1 thousand years, taking the Old Testament people into account. That is just basic justice and basic common sense. It is obvious that you are attempting to place Roman Catholicism in the place of true Christianity as opposed to the S.D.A. but you are both in error by believing and teaching a Trinity of separate and distinct persons in the Godhead. You are also both wrong in claiming exclusive truth and of being the One True Church on earth, when there is no such thing in terms of a recognizable denominational organization. No one knows who make up the true body of Christ on earth. There could be members from countless denominations and those outside of denominations. The S.D.A. do lie and fabricate to promote their church but so does the Catholic church, and for a much longer time. If confessions can be made to men for forgiveness of sins it certainly is not to men who are trapped in pedophilia and homosexual lifestyles as the large numbers of priests in the Roman church.

thenowchurch Here are some bible verses that contradict the theory of eternal hellfire ......John 3:16. ‘ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not PERISH but have everlasting LIFE ‘. Dictionary definition of PERISH- to DIE, especially in a violent OR sudden way. Malachi 4:3 ‘ Then you will trample the wicked , they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet ‘. Ezekiel 28:18 tells us that Satan will be ‘ turned to ashes upon the earth ‘. According to Revelation 2:11 and Revelation 20:6 those who overcome the devil’s tribulation are holy and have part in the first resurrection will not experience the second DEATH. I agree with you …… God has His people in every church. 🙏🏽

Please consider this: 1Co 13:9-12, “For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. I thought of Moses and the children of Israel- that while the Lord was miraculously providing them "manna" to eat, some of the people complained because they were craving the "flesh-pots of Egypt".. well you may read what happened after that with the quail and all. So perhaps the remnant at the endtime "won't be found eating meat" because they will be in remote places eating "manna" and drinking pure water (*see what is inside the "Ark of the Covenant" along with the 10 Commandments). Praise God that you're not yielding in your faith Pastor Doug! I came into the church through one of the Amazing Facts seminars. Prior to that, I was always questioning, under the Holy Spirit.. why this.. why that..in my other church. It was an answered prayer the following day to see a commercial advertising one of those seminars! Since then, I have found my grounding.. my calling.. and my truth !!! I too am unyielding. We have our truth. Brother probation has closed on the SDA GC church, not on the people yet, you have to leave or you will be decieved. "Dirty Dozens" was actually a television game show on 'In Living Color' during the 90's, where people cracked jokes & made fun of each other. "The Dirty Dozen" was also a 1967 WW2 film. Plus, "Dirty Dozen" is a song from D12 off of their 'Devil's Night' album.

So wonderful I’ve never watch this one but this is eye opener all the time. When we know the truth and now that I’ve been watching and reading the Bible for over a year now and baptized now and several bible study with amazing facts and Adventist website. This make even more sense. Thank you for this video 🙏

I am very blessed to go to a small country church where total plant based diet is at pot luck lunches, and also my home diet 99.9 percent. I pray to overcome the last bit of percent. The benefits and blessings are wonderful. Thankyou for this programme which brings to notice where our church is in such a sad state with all the worldly things coming in. I remember as a child in the late 50's early 60's if anyone cut grass on Sundays they will be arrested and shops will be closed,you right pastor Sundays were held better than what God's Sabbath day is being held.

The word of God also known as the Bible is God’s Testimony to the people so not believing in the infallibility of the Bible or the words is not believing in the word of God himself...

I love that the beauty of this unique movement is lifted up in this message. What a Loving, compassionate, powerful Lord we serve. Remember the illustration he gave near the end, " My dads the pilot, and I know he's just taking me home." That sums it up, doesn't it? Let the scoffers scoff, the angry be angry, the faultfinders faultfind, though we need to sincerely pray for every soul in the bondage of confusion that they come to a deep saving knowledge of the Holy Spirit's purpose to save them , but if they continue until the Lord blows the trumpet, what a shame for them. What a loss. Why not, on the other hand, apply the same energy to preparing our hearts to be redeemed when He comes? Much more rewarding. Bless all!

The SDA seems to really understand scripture without all the crazy interpretations I’ve seen that are extremely confusing in other denominations. I was raised Roman Catholic but at 33yrs was born again and started attending a Baptist Church. I love there preaching of several pastors like Chuck Swindall and John McArthur (although I’m not a calvinist) but the teachings on Eternal Hell... Burning always confused me tremendously! There’s so much to be confused with today with people like Pat Robertson and other who claim the earth was created billions of years ago. Good Christian’s who try to jive Biblical Scriptures with evolution. It almost broke me recently. I had always believed in a literals translation of the Bible. It’s God’s Word ! So when I started hearing this evolution and old earth stuff I guess Satan jumped on it !! I never accepted it. Even 20 years ago after studying evolution and old earth it seemed so ridiculous! But then a month ago it started creeping into my head again and studying it made me question my beliefs. I don’t know why because it seemed even more ridiculous now that we know about DNA and Genetics which have only made God look more real! I guess Satan used it to confuse me. Once I got into the Bible again the confusion was gone ! I don’t doubt the scriptures and now everything makes perfect sense. Hearing the SDA church’s belief about Hell and fire was just another confirmation for me. God is Good !! Thank you Pastor !

I had someone tell me that the sabbath had been changed; from the seventh day to Sunday, and this is what the brother is trying, to teach. I told him that he should read Gen two, and three. He told me that I did not know how too understand what I was studying. Anyway I rejected; what was being told to, me. I let him know that Christ did not come to change that which was written; but to fulfill that which had been written. Where in the Bible did it ever tell man that Christ changed; God's Sabbath?

God said in exodus 20 with the Ten Commandments that the Sabbath was the seventh day. After Christ died it is written they still kept the Sabbath, Jews and gentiles did, message me for specific verses if you are interested. It was never changed by God. The Catholic Church believes they have the authority to change it-but the Bible says in Daniel 7:25 that the beast of the end times will “seek to change times and laws-“ and that’s exactly what has happened. You are correct. The Bible never says anywhere that the day was changed by God. The Bible also says God never changes. That’s why we keep the seventh day Sabbath and don’t accept the “change” to Sunday/“the Lord’s day”-because it is not biblical and we don’t accept man’s authority over God’s. There are people who will be very militant against this truth simply because they don’t want their traditions messed with, but ultimately a “thus saith the Lord” can be our only way of life in truly following Christ. Stay strong friend.

We must understand that it is not easy for a person that have not been taught Bible Truth to believe that every word in the bible is of God the Father, God the Son God, God Holy Sprit. Satan is a deceiver to people and they believe what they have learned. We who know bible truth are God's witnesses to others, it is God who convicts people. @Leonardo's Truth you are saying that the Bible changed the Sabbath to Sunday. Can you show me the verse please? It must be somewhere in the Bible according to what you're saying correct ? I want to make sure I'm keeping the right rest day. Show me where the Bible says that God blessed and Sanctified the first day of the week . thank you very much, I will follow Bible evidence only. Those that don't follow Bible evidence are in a cult. It's not the other way around.

@Leonardo's Truth Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath, means that Jesus is the one that instituted the Sabbath in Exodus 20 8. Christ is the lawgiver one that gave Moses the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. Don't you believe that Jesus is God? Or do you believe He's just an afterthought ? A new God. All different now. New ideas, etc.

@Leonardo's Truth I guess you missed the part Jesus says....... " Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matt.5 You seem to have divorced yourself from this text. Its Not clear enough perhaps?

God is Love. We must realize as God's faithful people, that when D Word says: Whatever we eat, drink, or do, we should honor n glorify D Lord, always, all d way. 1Corinthians 10:31. I trust we b serious about d wsy we dress, sleep, work etc, so it may b a blessing w wisdom n understanding, in being "saints," by all means. Rev 14:12. ❤❤❤

i did not become a seventh day adventist i was looking in to it with my wife and we saw that you had a christmas tree in your church and stop looking in to your church but still like a lot of your infow it is sad four we are and still looking but still trying to do Gods will in these last days God bless.

There is no church in the world that does not have something wrong with it or in it. So if you are looking for that you can stop looking right now and never step foot inside a church again. However, if you are seriously looking for to follow God look for the one that follows the Bible as close as can be. The Bible says we all sin so and people make up a church, hence no perfect church. Look at why they had a tree. Were they singing Rockin Around the Christmas Tree or were they using it as a gift tree for kids in need? Huge difference in where their Spirit is at!

Strength to our faith

The true Remnant Church was the Historic SDA of the pioneers (E G White, etc) who understood and held the true Pillars of the true Faith. From 1980 onwards till date, the pillars of faith of the Historic SDA of the pioneers were "shaken" and the once Remnant Church has become Modern SDA... The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. She has tainted Ellen G. White's writing by changing or omitting verses in the original manuscripts. She speaks of revival but she is spiritually dead. Obedience is better than sacrifice. we must return to preaching and teaching to the truth without compromise.

Jesus is doing a special work meaning the investigative judgement where you dont know if your saved until the end This is a teaching from ellen g white but the bible says jesus entered into the most holy place ONE time. The teaching that jesus is Michael the arc-angel when the in intersection is over.meaning when the investigative judgement is over again this is what Ellen white teaches Preparing our hearts The seal of God is to have that character that devotion that commitment But Scripture says ephesians 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise. Any teaching that contradicts scripture immediately should raise a red flag. Isaiah was in the sanctuary and Ezekiel because God was showing these prophets What was going to happen to the temple when nebuchadnezzar was going to bring Jerusalem down Its scripture mixed in with Ellen whites teachings Without Ellen g white there would be no seventh day Adventist.

@@donnabaardsen5372 you have hit on the reason Adventists make up less than 1% of Christianity worldwide, and are not growing. Another reason is they perform abortions for profit in Adventist hospitals. God does not bless a people who destroy His precious children before they can live.

The only complaint that I have,is that i wish this program was longer,there is so much to cover and talk a bout and an hour is just not long enough for me to soak it all in 😔

35 yr Adventist and the church is very cold and I don't feel Im apart of a remnant when I am there...This is in the southern state conference...
