You don't have to have it in English all the time, just watch the movie, you will get the hang of it😂

Many dramas special really proved that Korea has good directors,actors and scriptwriter.Sadly almost all 18+ episodes dramas that I've been watching said the otherwise.I'm glad that KBSWorld broadcasts this kind of program.

You absolutely right. The 18+ episode dramas are not as interesting as the special drama because they are too long.

Yu Oh-seong is such a talented actor. Just love Korean historical movies...

I love it the plot was beautiful specially it teaches us about the low class and how they live and has been treated after their loyalty. And still were able to live a happy life.

This was a great film wonderful plot…sadly he felt as though he sacrificed everything for nothing. He still did not receive the recognition he should have from the King i guess knowing he saved him was enough.

the best KBS dramas seem to be sageuk. Yeah the plot is more emotional and needs all the power the actors and actresses have to deliver.

Interesting presentation, and, as always,(in a Korean movie) an interesting message is proclaimed.

2020 and loved it. A story about self-respect. Even a dog that starts working for nothing but puppy biscuits is a ruined dog.

드라마에서 이채영의 아버지(임경업장군) 는 마지막 장면이후 30~40년 후에 신원이 회복되었습니다. 정확히는 현재 드라마상의 왕인 효종의 손자인 숙종 때에 복권됩니다. 그러니 마지막장면이후는 해피엔딩이라고 보시면 됩니다.

The general, who fought to the end to protect his country, could be one of historical heros. - But unfortunately, it seems that they failed. Korean King bowed down to Manchurian Emperor, and the war ended. The sycophants jealous of the general got the power. So the general, who should be extolled as a national hero, was saddly beaten to death like a dog because the sycophants want to win all hearts from Manchurian Emperor. Even they have tried to assassinate their king. Most of all, the Devil Ride became totally dejected after he failed. His friend became a bully... Maybe because of the feelings of guilt. - The history always have been written in the name of kings and nobles. Yes, I know they have gotten important roles in the history. However, we need to realize how many nameless grass roots have made their own critical remarks in the history and yet disappeared without traces.

She was able to achieve her goal. She cleared her fathers name and got to get her nobility reinstated (Which is portrayed by her being carried in a litter).

영화 뺌치는 수준.. 몰입해서 잘 봤습니다.

What a miserable existence, always giving to the high and mighty and never receiving anything in return...the irony of this is, this is exactly what happens in reality ☹️

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILER* I think the mistress was given her noble status back at the end (though how, we're not sure). And the protector-dude-who-turned-evil's words were right all along: no one appreciated their efforts and Manbuk just let everybody use him over and over again. The scene when Munbok took off the cloth strips he wrapped around his wrist was really meaningful, especially with the close up of the king's face. Still, I couldn't understand the king's expression--I don't know if it's the actor's problem or the script's.

Exactly Korean movies are very good the way the story goes. and in war the soldiers reactions are like in real many are very scared and crying it's like real ...wheareas in English movies the soldiers don't look scared at all rather saying fuck,asshole,motherfucker and shhoting😂😂
