I grew up in a religious household, and went to sunday school untill I was 18. Im not religious now, but theese biblical caracters, and stories still haunt my mind, after all theese years. I think about them with the same scepticism, just as in the song. Good to see, that someone else has the same kind of toughts, on the other side of the world.

Jesus taught in parables and stories to help people understand. The religious hypocrites teach in principles that no one can understand or live by so everyone thinks they are going to hell. Be careful who the teacher is.

It shows they can see past the bible and what happened in the book while still being able to sing about it in a serious manor. They see its flaws as do we and everyone else should as well believer or not.
