Would love to see the new Macan in at least one ICE variant!! Porsche continues to push the industry to higher standards and that’s why I’ll always be proud as a Porsche owner.

I think the base price will be about the same as the ICE counterpart. At least, that is what I read about a year ago. Plus, we have seen it with a few cars from other luxury brands. Mercedes plans to do that with their E- G-Wagon and the i4’s base price is comparable to BMW’s ICE 4-series. What it will come down to are the add-ons and options. I ordered my i4 with nearly everything that was available and the final price was more than what the ICE 4 would have been with the same options. (A difference of just under 10k USD though.) I plan to do that with the e-Macan, too.😊

When Porsche speaks about something, they do it, even if they do not do it perfectly, they do it almost close to perfect. I can't wait to see how this master piece rolls out ☺☺

This has me excited for other variants in the Porsche family, specifically the upcoming electric Cayman and Boxster.

I hope you don't discontinue the gasoline engine. 🥶

They are keeping the combustion engine, just with co2 free gas. They are working on it. Thank God.

Ok so this is the way you actually make a true Luxury EV. Power, Performance and Outstanding Design, coupled with a Pedigree Heritage and Nobility. Something you wont get from ChinaEVs and Valley Startups.

not so sure about the two piece headlights, but other than that, a very nice car.

Still in love with the design of my 2021 Macan S and the sound of that engine, call me old fashioned and I love my Apple watch, but there’s something organic about an engine, a mechanical or automatic watch, even a manual coffee grinder.

Love the taycan lights and cayenne coupe back 😍😍

2 problems: 1. The split-headlights look as disgusting as they look at BMW-cars. 2. As long as BEVs have a range problem especially at low temperatures, many people won`t buy the E-Macan.

Still has that classic shape, and a CD of .25?! Impressive!

“It drives like a Porsche.” After these words I stoped it. Seriously?! Sounds like they admit it’s not a real Porsche, but just “drives” like a Porsche. 😮

Over 500km on a full charge?! 100km in 4 minutes?! With repeatable sub-4.0 0-100 km?! If these figures prove true with real-world applications, this will be hard to pass up in a Porsche SUV.

I’ve seen some news coverage that Porsche is girding its loins, as it were, production-wise in anticipation of keeping up with demand. Brilliant concept, and I am very much looking forward to seeing one up close when it comes to the market. One question I have is if the Porsche motor/magnet is free of rare, earth minerals. BMW uses a magnet-free motor, a feature I find attractive (pun not intended 😉).

I think a plug-in hybrid version would do very well in the USA. We simply do not have the infrastructure for convenient EV charging on road trips. Design is great!

I have something I'm really curious about. first. Why separate DLR and headlights? If you make it with a single lamp like before, wouldn't you be able to save money and reduce the weight of the car by making the structure simpler? Second. Is dividing the charging port into two halves an inevitable choice for body balance?

new design language + decrease of insurance costs. if one thing breaks, u don't have to replace a full unit. this is a great step towards repairability

I love my 2021 Macan and I would love to see a 2025/6 maybe with a hybrid. Is there a hybrid I-4 variant in the works?

Range figures are out. 305 miles for turbo and 325 miles for base going 60 miles per hour on a highway in warm weather with no wind.

The Macan is too small of a vehicle to get a V8. Biggest engine you'll get in the ICE Macan is the 2.9 twin-turbo V6.

I wish they were doing a petrol version of this, but I'm glad their engineers were able to focus on optimizing a specific layout/drivetrain. This is going to be a very good EV.
