Not gonna lie. The final scene got to me. My eyes started sweating at seeing Lori's haunted face, but seeing Frankie show up to give his brother one last walk really started the waterworks. I'm gonna miss this show as much as I miss the real deuce.

This show has been one of the greatest shows that I watched in the past 3 years, it is viscerally honest, has captivating characters and great realistic storrytelling and development, it's been quite a journey and I enjoyed each and every episode. HBO will always be #1 for these kinds of shows to me also special thanks to David Simon and the crew for creating all this

It's a shame that show about porn industry was afraid to show any vulvas. We saw many erect dicks, explicit male masturbation throughout seasons but vulva was f**king hidden all the time. Joke, America is a joke. America is so stupidly scared of female genitalia.

Coming back to this…… Then ended Haunted me for a month. I watched that scene like 100 times especially with that soundtrack playing. My brother was killed…. I remember 42nd street from the late 80s early 90s… when I walk thru it up to this day I feel like Vincent. Looking at places that don’t exist… Seeing what it was like it still existed 😢

I just watched the finale some few minutes ago and I'll admit I'm crying like a little bitch and kinda extra sad for Lori. And it sucked that Vince and Abby splitted, but c'est la vie. Most underestimated AF TV show ever.

The original plan was to end it after three seasons. And that's exactly what happened.

He was alive. The show is based on his real life. The shorunners talked to him often like they were saying- both Vincent and Abby gave them a lot of the material they used for the show

Barbara Loden, star & director of "Wanda" played Warren Beatty`s flapper, slut sister in "Splendor in the Grass" directed by Elia Kazan, she became Kazan`s girlfriend, he said "she was a pain in the ass as well as a pleasure there." but he respected her intellect & talent. Saw "Wanda" on TCM couple years back....moody, gloomy, depressing...not a date movie but worthy of conversation & debate. Also got to see adds & drinking of Piels beer as well as Schaefer & Rolling Rock. the film was shot in Pennsylvania.

I have to disagree with most here. I thought the ending sucked and was a total cop out to tie up plots. It didn't deliver at all in my opinion. This series had great potential but relied too much on boring subplots (anything to do with police and the city) and meaningless characters that simply fizzle to nothing. I expected more out of Vincent and Candy's characters by the end of the series and they maintained what they had been doing for the past two seasons. Laurie Madison's fate was too obvious five episodes prior to it happening. And out of the blue, two characters surface in the last episode that had my wife and I looking at one another wondering who the hell they were. They should have focused more on the main characters and less on the crap characters that meant nothing from start to finish.

Great show with a disappointing ending. That old-man make up didn't work at all and the music and writing of the scene sucked. It was a good idea to show how fucked up the area looks today, but was badly implemented.

Jesus what a horrible fruity ending, thats definitely not David Simon's writing!! Just spoils the chance of becoming a classic favorite. God, the ending is criminally bad.

Talk about bad! This is as one of the worst TV endings in history. Hint it was a bad show! It ran for only 3 seasons for a reason!
