Kaji Yuki deserves all the awards for the work he put in here. His range from near tearing his throat our screaming while breaking free from his chains to the low, sinister and composed intent of his voice when declaring global genocide with The Rumbling is something that gives me constant chills. This was the episode I waited to see animated so bad! And my god did it deliver!

I like how Isayama didn't just come right out and tell us exactly what the Parasite was. Any explanation I feel would've ruined the whole mystery of the Titans.

I've read the manga but i just noticed when watching the anime, Ymir was freaking merging with the tree when she became a titan! That's why titans are lighter than their supposed size and they need a FREAKING SUNLIGHT to operate and goes sleep mode at night!!!!!! Edit : THEY ARE BASICALLY A FREAKING PLANT! They regrow when cut, unless your took out the root which is THE SPINE!!!!

Whenever I see a group of reactors I have to think of the idea that humanity, on average, is fucking stupid. The amount of stuff is missed, misunderstood or not surprising/surprising (when it shouldn't be), is honestly baffling. Like, this whole "she made a deal with the devil" thing was literally addressed in just one episode after that and specifically noted as "there's no truth". Ambiguity instead of clear cut "evil vs good" is like the biggest part of the show, besides "move forward". How do people ignore something as monumental as that.

lets appreciate MAPPA for this amazing episode, they did an amazing job for this one

These last few episodes, Mappa has been nailing it! They have done great justice to the Manga. I like Wit Studio, but I don't think they would've pulled this off as well as Mappa.

well, ymir was born free, but since the eldian tribe captured her peaceful tribe, it started there. at such young age, she had to go thru that, and what is heartbreaking is that before the eldian tribe occupied the tribe she's in, she was always the helpful little girl but the people pointed all their fingers at her without hesitation... i mean, she did released the pigs, but given the fact that these people, without question and like i said awhile ago, no hesitation, just blamed it on little ymir is just... sad and heartbreaking. she tried helping those people in her own ways but the people she helped threw her just like that.

idk if the reactors watched that ending credits from the past season wherein the whole backstory of ymir's upcoming as the first titan, the passing of ymir's powers to her three daughters (forcefully) then the stories after that... basically isayama and the animators spoiled us from the beginning.

I feel more bad for Ymir than I will ever for Gabi.

i am with Erens plan like the eldians barricaded themselves and stropped fighting and years after the whole world still wanted to them dead, made them the enemy after years of not fighting or retaliating. Marley and the world made them the bad guys so Eren gonna be the bad guy to protect his people. if you guys rather die willingly for something you had no part of, something you dont even remember or know about go ahead.

I'm onboard with his eradication plan as well tbh. The Eldians were repressed for centuries, especially after the King wiped their memories clean of the great wars and not having enough resources to retaliate. I like to compare Eren's methods in the means of how Lelouch from Code Geass went about his plan to protect his people, mainly his younger sister. If it takes the main protagonist, who is viewed as the hero initially, to become the villain *intentionally* to save their people and obtain their freedom, then so be it. As gruesome as it may be on one side of the argument, the war wouldn't just end in that sense, unless you wipe out your enemies. I don't understand as to why some of these "reactors" still see Eren as "selfish" and that he is only obtaining his freedom when he literally just said he's saving all those that grew up on the Paradis Island.

@@mochi-chan1337 it’s not really a percentage to his powers, but a intent and extent. like when he initiated the rumbling that was exactly his full powers, not a percentage. freeing the titans from within the walls are basically like the ultimate combatant no one has ever did or even tried so it can’t necessarily be stopped as soon as it starts.
