I love that they're giving it out to alleged "ghost hunter" hustlers. Granted, Bergara seems to be, tragically, a bit of a "believer", but still. Shane certainly sees the hustle for what it is. Brilliant satire.

it sounds to me like they had an acidic water problem that 1) leached lead into their drinking water and caused neurological damage (potentially even psychosis) from exposure, and 2) may have also led to the corrosion of a p-trap that was allowing sewer gas back into the house, introducing the rotting odor

Old houses often get drafts going through them due to how they are constructed and even more frequent when not properly maintained. Although that front door was odd considering how solid it looked , I can easily see the internal ones being blown by drafts

I’m late on the comments but reading through some of the comments is genuinely frustrating. Claiming that neither of them take the investigations seriously… I don’t believe that’s the case. I think both do an amazing in depth and fantastic job of fact sourcing.. they narrate compellingly and neither fake emotions for better content. Do they sometimes make jokes in inappropriate times, yes. But is it because they’re goofing around or is it a self soothing method to help calm each other down…. End of the day these guys are my all time favourite go to for spoooky content because nothing is overplayed for dramatic effect. As believable as can be when we aren’t personally in the room to witness

The difference being that I don’t go to the overplayed dramatised channels because I’m not interested in people faking it for better content. I’d rather watch a full video where someone finds nothing apposed to someone faking content for views.

This is why I send my more socially awkward demons towards them, so I can watch Ryan squirm and my demons have strokes

I still believe the fan theory that Shane is actually a demon that was sent to haunt Ryan, but he ended up enjoying his company so he goes to these haunted places with Ryan to protect him and enjoy him getting scared.

I swear watching Ryan and Shane investigate the conjuring house and then watch Sam and Colby investigate the conjuring house. It’s a hilarious difference because Shane and Ryan take this in kind of like a humorous way while Sam and Colby they’re very very serious about what they’re doing and they get a lot of evidence based off of that, I just am thoroughly entertained with both

I would love a found footage horror/comedy movie, in the style of grave encounters, where its just as spooky as what happens in grave encounters, but it stars the unsolved crew, just being themselves as ACTUAL ghost stuff is going down. I think itd be funny.

It seemed like he was saying that he could see how you would think it's whipers. Not necessarily acknowledging it as whispering .

Shane isn't the kind of guy who dips his toes in or dives in. He's the kind of guy who chains cinderblocks to his feet and THEN dives in.

Is it based on a true story, I haven't witnessed any ghost in real life, I doubt its existence, why people in Australia don't report it, America the land of make-believe, for the sake of money made by a form of entertainment, perhaps the house is haunted, but sceptics haven't witnessed it for themselves, perhaps I should visit that house, demonic entity or poltergeist should be observed by any visitor, if not why not, prey on the vulnerable but not me, what do these investigators say, surely there's a logical explanation, the seance with the wiija board should have revealed it, was it a hoax, why you don't show the evidence of the exorcism incident today👻

I rewatch all of these while I chart on the weekends. I'm not exaggerating when I say I stop working several times a day to just relish in how much I love this show and how much joy it brings me.

Rewatching Shane and Ryan's ghost adventures and I have to say: I never believed in the supernatural but I always had a teeny little bit of optimism about ghosts and such. This show has erased that tiny little nugget, it has pretty much disproven the supernatural like nothing else before it 🤗 (In my opinion anyway)

An alternative theory: Ryan was the demon the entire time, pretending to be a scaredy cat to hide his true self and he’s frustrated that Shane doesn’t believe in the supernatural no matter what happens But that’s just a theory…. And it remains, unsolved
