I put this video together as a resource and overview of my Demko AD20 / AD20 Custom / AD20S / AD20.5 collection in December 2022, to share critical things to know about the Demko shark lock models. Special shout out to the Demko Knives Dynamics FB group, the best resource on the topic.
The video intends to help buyers understand the wide world of Demko AD20x, what is (or is not) available, and some tips on where to find them.
I of course could not cover every detail including more obscure models like the AD20 Compact, AD22, the serrated blade options, etc. I also did after this video learn there was a very limited number of AD20S D2 slotted variants.
I hope this helps and please comment if I left something out!

I've got one of the AD 20.5 textured titanium/3V knives and I really love it. It's actually my favorite edc. I just found a AD20 clip point, machine ground, in Magnacut and I'm super excited to finally get my hands on a full sized version.

My ad 20.5 cf scales have horrible tear out along the radius edge of the scales especially along the bottom where the finger cut outs are. The top is more straight line slightly curved is very clean radius edge. My guess is during the sanding process caused the tear out. If you use a magnifying glass it’s very evident.

I've been on a knife benge. Just bought the ad 20.5 Taiwan. As a new collector, I scanned weeks for a new knife under $200. My comment/question I love the knife but I am really disappointed all because of the sharp jimping on the lock fin. Are all of them this way? A big reason I choose this knife is the fidget factor. It literally kills my finger. And I have labor working hands. I'm sure it will toughen up, and the new factor will go but this is a turnoff. I have thought of taking a file to it but 170 is a lot for me to be filing on my new knife. BTW what a collection!! That's gotta be 10 to $15,000 in Demkos 😆🤑

One word, Bro; "AWESOME!!!" WOW!!! Okay, 2 words... :-) :-) :-) I absolutely luv your Collection. And, it's perfectly fine if you don't use them and just enjoy collecting them; I totally get you, Bro! I have the same addiction. To the "Blade." :-) I absolutely luv how you share your experiences, Collection, and knowledge of your Collection. I have been a Subscriber for a while. And, have watched your Collection grow. Well done, Bro. Personally, the Non-Slotted, AD20S is my personal favorite. :-) Though, I do absolutely luv the AD20.5, too. I just wish they were, at least, the same length as the more heavy-duty AD20S; I like the way the AD20S fits my hand better... :-) And, I like the G-10 and Carbon Fiber Scales the best; I like them lightweight. :-) My Titanium Demko Folders are really nice. But, compared to the G-10 and Carbon Fiber Models, are too heavy and don't end up getting carried due to their weight. :-) But, try the Original Goat Aluminum Scales for the AD20 and AD20S Models, they are awesome and keep the weight to 6 ounces. :-) Note: All of the US, Custom Shop Scales, except for the Grivory Scales, are made by John Demko, just to let you know... Great Video! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Unfortunately...not being big on social media and unwilling to spend time chasing knives. Let alone paying inflated secondary market prices...User’s like myself get left out until the hype wears off or demand gets met...Knives I’m able to reasonably get now seem to be from 3-5 years ago...older than that rarity seems steps back in usually from lack of production and again prices go up. What fun the “Supply and Demand” game can be. On the other hand if I was a manufacturer or producer I’m sure I’d do the same thing...lol
