This series is an attempt to understand why the best fighters in the world are always successful, even against fighters with superior physical advantages. After a detailed review of many fights, I've been able to identify the systems, principles, and concepts employed that allow them to win again and again.

@@DevilDogMartialArts- it’s cool you’re doing breakdowns on some fighters who are full time bellator fighters such as mvp, Douglas Lima, Patricky pitbull. The only bellator fighters I see on system breakdowns are over the hill ufc fighters. You also gotta have cris cyborg: the first ever grand slam champion Bellator champ Ufc champ Invicta Strikeforce

@@edwinverzosa7655 I mostly stick to ufc for a variety of reasons but idk if I’d call them all over the hill. I try to blend hall of gamers and active guys like Cory sandhagen, suga Sean, Izzy, and pereira

Just out of curiousity, are there any fighters who you think have a great or excellent system but they're missing maybe 1 or 2 qualities or have maybe some sort of skill issue that prevents them from bringing out their approach's potential?

That’s a really good question. I always felt like Stipe would have benefited from developing a kicking game. If he added an active leg kick and a front kick with a level change it would give him even more depth to his game. Mind you that guy is an amazing fighter so I’m not knocking him. He’s still the heavyweight goat imo
