I actually attended this lecture live in Toronto , and This was amazing to watch live and was an honour to see Eckhart in the flesh . I've found that with my own experience and Eckhart's teachings that the most Spiritual thing we can do is embody that connectededness to Being as much as possible in our daily life, with everything we do . Great video Eckhart , thanks for being one of the people that inspires me to uplift and motivate others as well 🙏

I love what Eckhart said about people filling in empty spaces with their smart phones. If you're in a public place, and you just sit there, observing your surroundings, you become an outcast. We really do need to break our addiction to thinking and live in the moment.

I don't experience being an outcast. I experience the room, its lighting, space, temperature, movement in it. Regardless of what "everyone else" may or may not be doing, I'm engaged here, now.

I love Eckhart's sense of humor and how he acknowledges that there will be people in the audience who don't get what he is saying. That of course is because they are processing it through the thinking mind. The ONLY way to understand what Eckhart is talking about us by experiencing it. I can't describe to anyone the deeply spiritual and peaceful effect of focusing on sense perception instead of staying in my head all the time. But I know it's real and I need to make room for more of that in my life.

It's so fulfilling to just sit in my room and listen to the little sounds that are happening around me. The ticking of the clock, the clacking of my keyboard, the sounds my sweater rubbing against the chair, the sound of the wind outside. When I pay attention to these things, my mind just settles down and life becomes very light. And the best thing about this? It never ends and I can "do" it anytime, anywhere.

Eckart tolle is a jnana yogi. He got enlightened by wisdom and yoga of true knowledge. He got his inspiration from Ramana maharishi and jiddu krishnamurty. His teachings is very much resonates with eastern wisdom traditions.

Great video. I especially liked his bringing up the cell phones, the dependendence on them and adding more clutter to the mind, etc. I got one not long ago, to listen to classical music, an email email, later a text and spiritual stuff,ET, chants.the most basic and very helpful .I used to find it funny to see several people together by the beach and each just focused on this device in beautiful nature surroundings.

Nobody can act beyond their level of consciousness. After enlightenment I carried water and chopped wood. Throughout our lives we drift in and out of different levels of consciousness. To retain a peak experience of consciousness is like a precious gem to be treasured as evidence of a higher Self and connection with a nourishing source that vibrates at the core of who we are and all that has been and permeates the universe as an eternal and awe-inspiring presence with Divine intelligence beyond our comprehension. A single atom or particle divided, exploded and created the universe within ten seconds. What source of energy generated tension and movement in that particle? Quantum physics and religious scriptures try to explain this capacity for a microscopic cell or seemingly nothing to morph into a mountain, man, marigold or moose. Eckhart Tolle simplifies complex knowledge to be easily understood by his audience. Thanks for sharing this lecture.

Interpretations come from our imagination and turn into mind stories, acceptance of what is and trusting what will be without needing to create an explanation for it, is freedom from the needing to work anything out by thinking about it 🙏🙏🙏🙏. Only when we stop thinking are we free to realise answers to questions, we never actually think of THE answer to our questions, thinking simply allows our minds to come up with and invent AN answer to our questions. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I’ve been doing a ‘just be’ practice for a few years, sprinkled in with other healing practices I’ve been doing. It’s similar to ‘just be a witness’ of one’s thoughts. In watching this, I shifted my practice a bit and ‘just witnessed’ various aspects of myself that I’ve been dealing with, and it worked beautifully! My third eye is open and I’m clairaudient, so I also hear aspects of self involved and see them within me. While focusing on each area and just witnessing all involved with the issue, I was able to go FAR deeper than I’ve been able to go previously. I worked on my ego and what’s keeping me stuck in not moving forward in business, on teeth and gum issues (during which I saw lots of lifetimes with such issues), eyesight (I’d love love love to be eyeglass free with clear sharp vision always), and several more. It’s an amazing practice that I’ll keep doing! Thank you Eckhart! 💝💝💝

He really speaks to my heart. I too, relive good and bad times, in my head. I need to leave it in my head and learn to live in my heart ❤️
