The New Years Eve fire wiped out my sheep farm in 2019. Today the new shearing shed was completed, the fit out comes in the next few weeks and we will be for a while the most modern and safe shed in Australia! I have spent the money to have the best work place conditions to attract the best shearer’s. I am fifth generation grazier and I think we owe it to the industry and its workers to provide the best and safest work places.

If workers rocked up to work clean and sober and did full days without fail in an expert manner If farmers had safe equipment and facilities and brought sheep in the day before shearing And contractors enforced those practices on both parties then there wouldn’t be this you vs us scenario that is killing the industry. We need farmers to do our job just like they need us to do their job, so shouldn’t both parties work together and say we have a job let’s find a way to get it done rather than make excuses and look for ways to blame eachother

Im going to be as passive as possible.95 percent of the industry ate standing on the head to finish the last side fact contrary to the lies an deception.this is the major spinal an hip injurys.the reason 95 percent dont cone of the lastside of the sheep is because they have shorn the undermine properly.the reason they cant do the undermine properly is because the rousie interference.until it gets addresses the spinal injuries and multiple injuries will remain.the issue you have put on the table are not only near impossible to address but trivial to what ive mentioned.the solution to my issue is simple.get the girls away until the sheep is finished but it cant happen because of the lies an deception surrounding this issue.
