Vetex clarified that the crew fishing timer SAVES/PAUSES whenever you start moving the ship again, it doesn't reset it every time you set sail.

take 10-20 minutes per crewmate to fish up something and saved when you start moving, i got a fish right after i stopped the ship before

You just need to do the "Sorry, maybe later..." dialogue to give gifts to non-max level deckhands, itll bring up the next dialogue options

this is by far my favorite arcane odysey update !! yes it's only the deckhand rework and new rare sunken items but it adds so much characters to our crew yk ?? even if we gotta give like hundreds of items to gain trust to change their fit i still like it !

Fr. The immersion is real, and a perfect update to keep us full until Nimbus Sea next year 😌

It despawned 3 of my 4 deckhands from before the update so i have to level up the new 3 to give them classes (Except for the one that stayed from before the update, Lowe my beloved)

Im addicted to grind this update, even the deckhands are unique features this by far the best ship mechanics on roblox

"I couldn't access the shop until he was maxxed out" fyi, when a deckhand asks if you have a moment so you can upgrade them, clicking on "Sorry, maybe later" will then show the regular UI, so you can access their shop or their artifacts or whatever without upgrading them

The material needed for the navigator needs to be changed, clearstones are far to rare to be able to be used in a deckhand, I'd replace the clearstones with something like stormsalt.

stormsalt is rarer than clearstone though, for clearstone just go othrys and smash till you smash enough for stormsalt pray to RNG

@@goodolmemo Clearstones are rarer then stormsalts buddy, stormsalts are at pretty much every beach in the dark sea, I think your confusing stormsalt with thunder crystals.

2 things I tried out my self: - you do NOT need them to be legendary to give them a profession nor to upgrade it, when the prompt to upgrade their rank appears, just press "not right now" and you get the other menu, that also works for giving them 1 artifact which you can do just as medium affinity (lvl 2). - about the artifacts, they apear in your inventory (tab) in the tab of items and are listed as uncommon or rare (in case of the lucky coin) artifacts 👍👍👍 -

Also my bro, the artifact can be seen in your inventory, Press tab, and go to the jewel section, and go all the way down, based on the tiers

6:48 also ! when yuu upgrade Deckhands. It costs Gems right ? I found out they're random. so let's say it's asking yuu for a diamond and you don't have enough. it's not the end of the world ! redock yuur ship and talk to em again and it should change the gem type.

It's like 30 minutes on the Island to get max tan so probably it is the same for loosing tan

The deckhands and their gems arent dependent on their profession (at least based on wht happened when i redocked my ship) its just a random tier 1 gem than changes per ship redock

Click the deny option when u first speak to him and you can access their shop and stuff, like say sorry not now to him at first dialogue point

my crew profession right now is Shipbuilder, cannoneer and Enchanter. now i'm thinking what profession works well with it this update is so much fun, i finally got a reason to sink ship other than out of annoyance

So mearchant sells random items that can be gotten from chests, right? Does that mean he can TECHNICALLY sell super rare items like dark sea esentia?

merchants can now only sell items from chests that are less rarer than RARE, so only common and uncommon now.

wait, cant you just farm arcsphere by spam rejoining with a legendary merchant? this might be very op

But what will you do with all those arcspheres? As far as I know the arcsphere you get is always gonna be the same one: Your magic. Assuming you can buy any magic of arcsphere, doesn't every kind give the same power? If you get a million of a arcsphere, what's the point?

i have a question. when i talk to my deckhand and he asks me to upgrade him using 5 notebooks and 5 seawater bottles, i press upgrade but it doesn't work because i apparently dont have enough even though i do. (i have 7 notebooks and 6 seawater bottles, idk what the problem is)

The problem is the notebooks. You need notebooks which don't have an ownership on them (unnamed notebooks) for it to work... It's a really dumb thing but that is just how it works.

you can redock your ship and their requirements for the gems change

I actually figured it out, it's the LEVEL of the item.

when i choose mercahnt i upgrade him 2 times cuz i can, then i open his shop( u just answer "later" and then about him and then shop) he offer me platinum shovel for 150 lvl 100power dig, and then i lvl up him some times and rejoin to new server and now it like usual shop

How do you upgrade their tiers? They keep asking me to give them a profession or upgrade the one they already have

That's the thing... you need to upgrade their profession first before their tier and I found no way around to just upgrade their tier.
