The Decaying Structures of Dinorwic Quarry
In this video, we return to the amazing abandoned Dinorwic slate quarry in the Snowdonia region of North Wales to explore some of its hidden structures we missed last time - we certainly saved the best till last. Here we look at the ruins of Anglesey Barracks, the slate cutting sheds, and the workers' cabin.

Not just in the way this video was made, but also in your approach to the site and the information gathered and conveyed about it, really shows how fascinated and passionate you are. Thank you so much for making this!

Thanks I really appreciate that! We want to make videos that truly do these places justice.
Best enjoyed with volume off. Just take in the incredible views. Love Gwynedd.
This was a great watch. Thank you for doing this.
I had a holiday in NW a few years ago. Absolutely stunning place. We went to a slate museum and I was very impressed by the craftsmanship involved.
Such a hauntingly beautiful place the history just oozes out.
Great video. I was up there last week having not been for 20 years, but failed to get to Y Caban or Anglesey Barracks though, just so much to see, planning to return soon!
Gorgeous countryside and very fascinating complex. Awesome adventure. I really enjoyed this. Thank you.

Thanks :)
Such a stunning landscape and beautiful part of Wales, a lovey video guys, an interesting history, which shows how harsh and remote the conditions they had to work in and live. 👌
What a great day for an explore! Thanks guys, yet again. Wish you could come to NZ and check out the Denniston Incline on the West Coast. Obviously not as old as sites in the UK, but pretty cool. Good camera work.😊
Great explore great camera work, really good quality video 👍 looks like a heck of a climb but definitely worth it 🙂
Really interesting explore.
Another banger video from you guys thank you for sharing it 👍

Cheers Ian appreciate it! Ah that's typical, it is a big old place I always seem to miss something. Will have to get a meet up in at some point 👌
Loved your first video at the quarry and this more recent one. I’ve attempted to cover all the quarry over a number of visits but it’s too vast! Could you tell me where to find the saw mill and the workers cabin?
Interesting that some things still remain. It must have been really difficult getting all that machinery up that mountain.

I thought that! I suppose much the same way all that slate got moved down
FYI the mountain is called Yr Wyddfa and the area is Eryri.

As far as I'm aware whilst the park authority changed it to this, it's still internationally recognised as Snowdon and Snowdonia

@@BeyondthePoint The reversion to the Welsh titles was made a few months ago. It's in Wales. Doesn't matter what other people call it.

Why do people try to do commentary on something they know nothing about ,mwould of been better to just have some music and enjoy the pics
