yep, this production show is a stomp on others to survive, and not the one where everyone is equal and go forward together. She's swedish, and like danish and norwegian, she does not need this to know that everyone is equal and this show concept is a big bullshit where they pin girls each other just to win. what a sad concept, she might think. so Im happy for her, do whatever makes you feel happy Lexie. @@bgess72 이번 컨테스트는 문제점이 많은게 사실!. 딴 거보다, 연습생 지원한 애들도 아닌데 햇수로 무려 2년에 걸친 경연과정을 진행 중이어서 학교를 자퇴들 해야했고,, 올림픽도 아닌데 국기를 들고 입장하지를 않나... 그걸 또 점수에 반영하는 시스템에 .. 발표하는 과정도 무슨 오징어게임 시청하는 줄~!. 이거 나중에 국내외 언론에서 잇슈 삼으면 controversy가 될 확률 매우 높은 사안.

I sincerely hope that this becomes an opportunity for the other eliminated girls to make a wildcard comeback. I wanna see more of Mei. :(

​​@@lawtraf8008I think it's not just about the show ending, it's more about girl dreams that's why is called dream academy. All those girls have dreams, and we can't do anything for them to come back, but it would be great to allow one girl who was eliminated to reincorporate.

Maybe in the future she’ll produce a song for the debuting line-up. Wish her all the best as a producer🎉

I think she felt guilty for getting and invitation because she already had thoughts of leaving which was why she had a vague expression. Hoping the best for her new journey!

I hope to see her name in the credits of some future HYBE labels artists songs. She's talented and I had a feeling this might not be her path. Glad she realized it. I noticed her passion is more on the production /writing side. But glad she went through this process to find out for herself.

It's sad but when she says "this path isn't meant for me", I feel her. People tend to forget that the kpop industry is a very harsh one that demands a lot of sacrifices, a very short career and no life. It also means dropping out of school early which is dangerous bc once the group disbands, those idols have nothing to turn into and get forgotten by the general public once another group replaces them and they get depressed. Unless they get as big as bts (which is nearly impossible), none of those idols will last. Knowing it all comes with pressure and control from the label forcing you to undergo plastic surgery and controlling your life. Entering the Kpop industry is a trap. A lot of idols regret not pursuing school once they become idols bc they realise it's not all glimmer and fashion, it's actually the opposite but its too late to go backwards bc they signed a 7 years contract after their debut. Lexie just made the right decision, can't blame her.

Please keepè in mind that High school is not required in South Korea (nor in Japan), so the "dropping out of school early" part really only applied to people who travel to Korea to enter the Kpop industry. I do agree overall though because, if they wanted to go to university, they would have to first go to high school, so entering the kpop industry does in a way mean you are limiting your career choices to only the ones that do not require a university-level education.

Students even follow a special program aside from school to make it. Ofc high school is not technically required in any countries including USA but if you don't do it, you have basically no level of education and you're considered a noob especially in the Korean society that puts education on a high ground

Why do some people bring up eliminated contestants when this is completely unrelated to the previous missions? Instead of going from 14 to 6, it'll go from 13 to 6. That's the only difference this made. Lexie wasn't the reason your faves got eliminated, stop blaming her.

looking back at her expression when she got the invitation it seems like she told the show that she wants to leave and let the other girls get her spot instead. She looked mad that they didn't listen to her, and knowing she got called last too. Other girls could've been saved instead ☹️
