the only reason she didn’t make it is her scandal. an international girl group is a big risk so they’re not going to add someone who could bring the group negative attention. it’s a shame she ruined it for herself bc she was clearly hybes fav & likely would’ve been center/ face of the group

I believe that Samara, Emily, Ezrela, and Marquise will continue to pursue their passions. I truthfully think they would make a dope group with Ua and Mei. They give more happy vibes than sexy vibes. More upbeat pop music. Like their “Wannabe” cover. Keep going girls.

I think for a 6-member group, this was the most harmonious and logical combination to go with. Sophia - earns and deserves all the respect & support she receives. Super talented and great personality - makes her an incredible all-rounder. Strong leader material from the very start. Manon - A fitting oldest member with a ton of experience in the public eye. Also just extremely captivating as a visual, vocalist and personality - super strong center material. Plus demonstrated a lot of growth through the show. Daniela - Main dancer material and has so many years of professional dancing under her belt. I can see the group learning a lot from her years of training. I see her as the dance instructor of the group. Her vocals and visuals are the cherry on the top. Lara - Main vocal material from the very beginning. She rounds off the ‘big sister’ line so perfectly with all her experience in singing. I see her and Sophia leading the group in terms of vocal growth and training. Her dance performance and personality make her another powerful all-rounder. Megan - such a powerhouse. You can tell she’s young but also has a ton of training + experience at the same time. I see her as the next main dancer alongside Daniela. Her growth on the show was incredible to watch, she can very well grow into center material or the next best all-rounder alongside Lara and Sophia. Yoonchae - you can just tell she’s brimming with talent and potential but just isn’t quite at the level of her other 5 bandmates just yet. Despite her young age, she still holds her own both vocally and in her dance performance. Her growth on the show is an indicator of how much more growth she’s capable of. I’m most excited to see how her 5 members’ experience and personalities, influence + shape her into the confident, show-stopping all-rounder I know she can be. Plus her being Korean will help the group a great deal if and when they promote in Korea. *Marquise - a part of me wishes Katseye was a 7-member group because Marquise would’ve fit right in. Not only is she tall, pretty and has a lovely personality like the other 6 members. But she’s also just super talented and very clearly on her way to becoming a super strong all-rounder. I think she, along with Megan and Yoonchae would’ve made for a perfect ‘little sister’ line. All 3 of them just radiate an immense hunger and capacity for growth. Plus her being Thai would’ve added even more diversity to a global group. I hope she debuts in the near future, she really came into her own in her last 2 performances and she’s more than ready. Either way, super happy with this lineup and wish all the girls the very best 👏

Having watched all 3 mv's, I see no reason to cut anyone. This works with 10 as a group. Think of all the possibilities of creating sub-units and the different genres of music they can cover.

I'm happy for Katseye - they're a cohesive group with similar energy and of course plenty talented and beautiful. I'm also hoping Hybe won't let the ones that didn't make it go to waste - there's definitely a group of shorty sunshine contestants that many would like to see do brighter concepts get together. Mostly though I just hope to find out Emily and Ezrela's social media so I can follow whatever they do next - such wholesome girls

eles simplesmente usaram a gente e aproveitaram a hype que damos quando tem br envolvido. Deixaram a Samara até o final por isso. A Hybe sugou a audiência e engajamento dos br e qdo não foi mais necessário descartaram tanto ela como a gente. Só precisavam de otários (nós) pois tendo uma brasileira, engajamos o reality e enquanto isso eles riram da nossa cara. Fizemos marketing pra empresa enquanto nos faziam de trouxas. A Samara é talentosa e popular, é só ver o número de visualizações nas fancans, sempre foi a top 3, mas desde o princípio não fazia parte do plano da Hybe/Geffen, debutar nenhuma latina ( aqui não me refiro às americanas filhas de latinos ). A Celeste a Samara ou qualquer outra latina, nunca debutariam nessa empresa já que muitos americanos odeiam latinos, e toleram apenas os filhos dos latinos que nascem lá, ou seja, americanos. No chat do Weverse atacaram e chamaram a Samara de racista, xenofóbica é só ler pra saber quem foram os verdadeiros xenófobos. E a Hybe sempre deixou a menina sozinha recebendo ódio sem fazer nada, não deixaram ela dar nenhuma explicação ou se desculpar, se fosse o caso, sobre a curtida no vídeo do tiktok sobre os memes da falta de higiene das comidas de rua, que por acaso era na Índia mas poderia ser de qualquer nacionalidade inclusive a nossa, como fazemos. Aí mudaram todo o contexto e inventaram essa coisa de racismo.Trataram uma menina de 17 anos como se fosse uma criminosa e eles fizeram bem pior com ela e nada foi feito. Se isso não é xenofobia eu não sei o que é . Aproveitaram isso como desculpa e deixaram ela na geladeira pra cair no esquecimento porque esse negócio de lesão no joelho, será que era tão grave mesmo ou isso era para afasta-la e justo quando ela mais precisava de visibilidade? Será que não era mais para tirar o foco de cima dela? No mínimo isso é muito suspeito. A votação não serve para nada, além de iludir quem vota, achando que fará alguma diferença, porque no final quem decide mesmo são os jurados. Desde o princípio eles já sabiam quem iam debutar, e só precisavam testar a popularidade delas. Presta atenção na altura delas. Todas do mesmo tamanho. Tudo encaixadinho. Perfeitinho. As outras meninas que ficaram no final não tinham a menor chance. A única que mudaram foi a Nayoung que ao abrir a boca foi substituída pela Yoonchae. Mas as demais foram escolhidas bem antes. Também vejo muita hipocrisia porque a Yoochae mal consegue se comunicar com o próprio grupo por não falar em inglês, mas eles não aceitam alguém que não fala coreano em um grupo de kpop. A menina tem 15 anos e a maioridade pra ela só aos 19. O conceito do grupo é sexy, então algo não se encaixa. Eles deram um tiro no pé com isso. Com esse perfil ela teria que debutar no kpop e não pop. Agora fica de olho que a Hybe vai querer fazer outro reality, e no México, então vão atrás dos latinos. Que outra empresa dê à Samara o valor merecido pois brincaram com os sonhos de uma menina de origem humilde que só queria dar o melhor para a família dela. Imagina como ela deve estar mal sabendo que foi tratada como objeto. Mas não concordo que ataquem as outras meninas que elas não tem culpa de nada. Lexie foi esperta e caiu fora. Aí tem. Sair do canal da Hybe, não chegar nem perto desse documentário da Netflix que vai usar a imagem da Samara e as outras, evitar dar likes e visualizações nos seus vídeos, sair das comunidade do Dream Academy e tentar ignorar tudo que se refere a esse grupo. O que salva nele são os talentos da Sophia, Lara e Daniela. Peguei ódio e nojo da Hybe.
