I met Erick at a wrestling convention in November 2021. Being a metalhead, I asked him about all the awesome shirts we've seen on screen. He told me they're all his, he has about 150 of them , and his wife thinks that's way too many.

Because back in 2014-2016 the main roster wrestlers were pretty tall like Mox,Rollins,Reigns,Cesaro,Sheamus,Kane,Swagger, etc you put those guys on the same height as Rowan and Brodie and there isn't really any big difference between the height

For those unaware, Penta Oscuro is AEW's version of Pentagon Dark from AAA in Mexico and from Lucha Underground. Penta would regularly "break" the arm of opponents, managers, valets, referees & ring announcers in that fashion following matches.

@@josgor9061 if you can, check out Lucha Underground (and try to ignore the last half of season 4). Penta started mostly a heel, but eventually became more of an antihero type. He was never really a face.

@@josgor9061 I'm an American wrestling fan, and it made perfect sense to me, but, then again, I'm not a casual fan either. I mentioned AAA & Lucha Underground for that very reason, so the curious casual fan could, if they desired, look up Penta on KZread with those companies.

This probably wasn’t intentional on Jericho’s part, but he summed up my own thoughts about this feud quite nicely. What’s this feud about? The Death Triangle seem like natural followers of Black, and I don’t see what Black gains by antagonizing them.

@@NappyPappy4life Funny you should say that, because when Black first debuted and spoke of the “House of Black,” I’d hoped the same scenario you describe would happen to the Hardy Family Office and the Factory, with the Butcher, Blade & Bunny, Nick Comoroto, and Anthony Ogogo turning on their leaders and defecting to Black. Those stables are very unpopular as a whole, so AEW would be doing themselves and their fans a favor by dissolving them and incorporating some of their members into the House of Black.

I really liked seeing this Rampage with the whole setup inverted: the hard cam, commentary table and the heel/babyface tunnels. It does seem different and this episode was great, it shows what can be told differently within a live show and how good Tony Khan is at booking SO MUCH stuff in a one-hour show.

Jesus! I so love Penta Oscuro aka Penta Dark! The Breaker of Limbs! When I saw him tonight snapping that arm, I knew he was back! I love that Tony Khan and AEW respect Mexican talent and Lucha Libre so much! As a lucha fan for more years than I care to reveal to my fellow AEW fans, this brings tears to my eyes as I remember the older days when some fans in the US mocked Lucha Libre. No matter what promotion anywhere in the world in Japan, Mexico, the US, or anywhere else, the time is coming where all forms of pro wrestling will be respected and welcomed.

@@andy2069 as of right now they haven’t confirmed he’s signed a more than one off deal. They usually announce it pretty soon after, so my guess is as of rn it’s a short term thing unless he really impresses them

If Redbeard signs full time I could see him turning on Pac & Penta & joining the house of black. Of course if he's not signed full time (yet) I fully expect him to take the pin to protect Pac & Penta then they'll have the real match when Rey returns.

Love seeing Redbeard back again. Even if he's not All Elite, just having him show up again to lend his considerable muscle to this hot feud is great. I know he's never necessarily been the _greatest_ wrestler (Brodie was the real brilliant in-ring worker among the Wyatt Family) but he's a solid worker, a very big man, and I still feel he's underrated. And in AEW his size really does stand out.

They have no reason to be in a storyline with the House of Black unless Penta is also joining them which also makes sense with his dark/evil character. Redblack with his tattoos all over his body similar to Brody and Malakai works perfect plus Redblack used to be in a dark faction with Bray Wyatt and Brodie.
It’s cool to see Redbeard back on tv. I met him in New York a few years ago and, he couldn’t have been nicer. It’s great to see him again.

I would have put Mathews in Death Triangle and Redbeard in House of Black. They both seem mismatched.
