It was a great "Star Wars" Day episode ten years ago, touching story and fun activities, when Prof. Proton taught Sheldon to appreciate friends/family around him.

That was funny. I rarely appreciate sitcoms, but I do believe there are a few good ones including this one. Some other good ones I've rarely seen are Friends, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Seinfeld, and Everybody Loves Raymond. I liked King of Queens, but especially Jerry Stiller in that. He was brilliant. My favorites are Cheers, and All in the Family.

I take it you don't like science fiction? I think it's because both franchises were the first to do what they did. At least to the largest audiences. It's more of a nostalgia thing I suppose.

​@Joseph-gm3qm I LOVE Star Trek. I am a major Trekkie, but as much as I love the series, if you enjoy comedy try to get hold of TOS (the original series). It was made like back in the 60s. Watching it now has a lot of stuff that is a bit comedic. Don't get me wrong, for something that ran from September 1966 to June 1969 some of the effects was pretty good, but some of the dialog is rather amusing in retrospect. The full length movies made later had more of the modern science fiction feel to it.

A day early but oh well

1st fortnite brought back star wars on May the 3rd instead of star wars day and now this is mha the only one sticking to the tradition

To be fair, it was pretty stationary until they looked away, it's not too difficult to forget even an obvious step when it looks like things are stable. It's better than the scientist and math PhDs that have caused unintentional explosions because they made a simple mistake in the calculations or had a brain fart part way through 😅

Bernadette used to be so sweet, the later seasons version of her wouldn’t have dreamed of making a Star Wars cake to cheer the boys up! She would have made some mean, snarky comment instead and then got upset because nobody made her a cake for being pregnant and giving birth to her kids, (her go to excuse to treat everyone like absolute crap).

It's not even 4th May yet but I'm glad they uploaded this before the 4th of May

This episode was aired in 2014. The movie was released in 2019. "The Force Awakens" was released in 2015, even that wasn't out yet. Maybe they were doing a SW marathon.
