Even though we have a profusion of poached egg plants flowering in the garden, which the bees love, most of the spring flowers are now over. As the weather gets warmer, the bees are increasingly frustrated at not finding much nectar and are ready to turn into robber bees as soon as any hive is opened! Even the bumblebees who are nesting in the garage by the freezer are in on the game!
