I absolutely love this gun! It's such a great defensive weapon against charging buffalo. Two quick vital shots at close range drops them in their tracks. I do agree that it's a very situational weapon. I think a 1-4x scope for it would make it an amazing weapon

They made it to not use a scope because in real life people don’t use a scope because they hunt buffalo from within 35 meters and then the scope would just get in the way.

I love to hunt big game, and since I already own all the useful rifles in the game, I bought the King. It's fun and it does what it's supposed to do. What I noticed is that .470 Full Metal Jacket only has the buffalo instant-kill magic if you really shoot at the effective range of 75 meters.

It will zoom if you have the iron sight zoom perk on when you take your breath. Its really nice. I won our fb groups competition long shot challenge with it on cape couple weeks ago 336.5 yards. (It was the weapon required that weekend)

I wanna try this gun. It’s probably just me but with the .338 and .300 I can never get a double lung on bison. The rhino shreds buffalo and bison but the rifles just can’t kill fast enough

I picked it up once, thought it was over priced as all get out. Only good I got out of it was destroying bunnies.... (That'll teach them to do non-stop warning thumps) Have started over, no plans to ever get it again.

I would agree, it is a fun gun to play with, really enjoy using it with the wolves as it is a quick kill. But I find the Rhino 454 hand gun is a much better weapon and also does class 9. But for range yes the 300 is the better choice. Thanks for your videos.

I like using a 3-7 class buckshot for wolves and I use the drilling rifle because it switches from shotgun to rifle

How can I get the 470DB Gun?

The .470 would look unrealistic and ridiculous with a scope im my opinion. I use it from time to time but only use the soft points

Came from another video game with similar name but completely different genre Hunt Showdown and it has this very same gun. The whole nitro rabbit hole made me see other iterations of the weapon in games.

Love the King double! Best defense and offense gun hands down. Will stretch out a Cape buffalo or charging grizzly and ask for seconds!

@@LadyLegendXO I do enjoy it. It's ammo is expensive but really just 2 good Cape Buffalo for 10 rounds and then you have 8 rounds basically free! I really like your videos. Keep them coming.

Every time I go on a hunt in Africa I bring it for the Buffalo just got a troll level 9 yesterday. I use it just cus it’s so satisfying

Buy the rhino with the 100 penetration ammo. Way cheaper, more shots without reloading for defense...and an actual scope (if unlocked).

@@LadyLegendXO I'm sure it is. I'm not excited about the optics on that one. I do like collimator on AR15 in real life, but successful hunting means distance and it is hard to get it with this King's setup. Gladly, I checked what goes with this gun before I bought it and then saw your video. I do like it, will buy it (I'm sort of a completionist 😅) buy later on. I grabbed me a Rangemaster instead.

I've used this Gun a Ton on Yukon Valley mostly for getting 100 quick Kill on the Bisons

It’s really cool. Need to play with it. It is expensive but honestly, it’s so easy to earn lots of money on Savanna with the Ranger 243, a .30-06 and the .300WM. I was sitting at 200k after a handful of hours of play time. I can’t afford a real double so it’s as close as I can get. Wish they had more guns or more customization with the guns

The only reason I own it is because it's required to finish the missions on Vurhonga. Otherwise, I just carry the .300 for ranged shots and the Rhino for up close.

I wish they would adjust the class of animals that different rifles can take on. But that would require the addition of guns since making it realistic and fun is hard to do with limited amount of guns they have. For instance, shooting a fox with a .223 or .243 would likely severe it in half with ballistic tips. Soft points will put a fist sized hole in them.

I do like the 470 with a hunting stand alot Easyer to the water buffalo and Cape bufflo

On the missions for Vurhonga there is a couple that ask you to use the .470 and reluctantly I will buy it to complete the missions. Do not want to spend $90K for a rifle I will rarely use. The ammo is 2.5 times more expensive than the .300 and for that price you would think the animals would go down quicker. For alternatives the .300 or The Rhino .454 and for Cape Buffalo I have a lot fun with the 45-70.

Wish it came free with the DLC like the other dlc guns do. Nothing was mentioned on store about the gun not being free. Wish it also had a better selection of scopes since it's a rifle. Some peeps seem to think guns with a caliber over 7mm have the ballistics of a brick and incapable of hitting anything smaller than an aircraft carrier.

I just played after few months n I just got an albino female lion :)

Have to buy it to complete Vurhonga missions 😭 I'm currently hitting the buffalo with arrows or bolts for the sneak effect. The bolts are deadly. They're large enough to hit them at 100m with vital hit.

@@LadyLegendXO I like it when they get aggressive and charge, I stand there locked on and hit them with a bolt as they're running towards me. Playing chicken see if it runs into me or dies before it reaches me.

I love this gun! The price is I think perfect because it’s for big game

I like the King. The reflex sight (it's not a scope and shouldn't be compared to one) is definitely better than using open sights. Yes, it's way too expensive and yes, the price of the ammo sux but when you shoot something with it, that something is going down!. It's a nostalgia gun, similar to the 2 lever action guns in the game, and both types of weapon excel at getting that second shot off quickly.

I havent yet purchased the King, and i doubt that i will any time soon....finally built up enough capital to set up an effective grind in Arroyo...I did "the LadyLegend Method" to score the Rhino and its enough for me as a defensive weapon and I love the 300 for actually hunting class9 animals...curious as to the health kits tho, does every1 use them? I have never bought a single 1 and never will...what's the problem with dying? there is no consequence except maybe having to run back and pick up a missed kill so why spend the money? makes no sense to me lol

Health packs are great when you’re hunting Cape and water buffalo. I hate being sent back to the outpost and I have to travel all the way back to continue my route. I’ve never heard of anyone not using them. And I have plenty of in game cash so cost is not an issue for me. That’s awesome that you got the rhino! Congrats! 😊😊😊

@@325hpls1 really what? you cant believe i dont use kits? i still dont understand why any 1 cares if they die in hunter...yea, runnin back can be annoying, but i usually have more inventory than quick slots anyway...and i dont recall sayin i had trouble making money, but i was grindin for money for a lil while to get all the hardware for a reasonably effective GO grind...not the funnest way to play, imo

I only like it because it’s the only big bore dangerous game round in the game

the big pistol is just as good, I have hit buffalo at 180ydsm and killed, plus 5 shoots, and it is cheaper

Hahahah Tbh.. I had forgotten that it was in the game.... Just use the .454 Revolver... Much better with scope, better penetration and the ammo is cheap compared to the king ammo. Been YEARS since I used it.
