Knock the bs off! Snipes is in his late 60s almost 70. I'm a fan of his and his version of blade but let's be real we need new blood and a younger actor to play the part. I don't want to see no geriatric blade! Maybe ylan Noel the main character from the movie the first purge he has the right look for blade he could have even been the new black panther as well.

Nobody can play (Blade) better than Wesley Snipes.

Reason it will be someone else is because Wesley snipes is in his lates 50s or early 60s. So they’ll need someone younger, blade is half vampire and don’t age like regular humans. He even takes that serum that doctor made, that eases the blood lust. Which wasn’t starting to wear off quicker and then he’d turn to a full vampire

Wesley Snipes version will never be attained unless Wesley himself returns! It essentially begain the MCU...for those who don't know, they used the technology from Blade 2 to create the ORIGINAL Spiderman's crazy movements,swinging and acrobatics.

Is there anyway to have Snipes in the movie at all?? He/ Snipes embodies the role just doesn’t like the movie hits without him, he is a true martial artist which makes the fight Seens a lil more realistic.

We want original blade.

The 1st Blade movie with Mr.Snipes "Blade" and Mr.Kristofferson "Whistler" simply can't be beat hopefully reboot will be good but that movie ranks right up there with Aliens and Predator for Me.

There's no one better to play Blade than Wesley snipes. Good screen presence, his movement, swag, martial arts ability is the epitome of the super hero blade, 1st to ever be successful for Marvel. Wesley Snipes had 20 years of martial arts training before he took on the role of Blade. What does homeboy have?

Its simple Blade was a shockingly good movie and Wesley Ac'd the performance in all of the movies!!!This movie literally enhanced the Sci-Fi Horror Thriller type flick !! hard to be better or equal Snipes performance he brought the comic book to life.

I wish Wesley Snipes would play Blade forever know what I mean, he's the best, number one, one and only.

I LOVE the Blade trilogy, including Blade 3. Wesley Snipes owns that role. I can't see anyone other than him in that role.

Snipes is to blade what Christophe Revees is to superman. Snipes will always be the original BLADE. However Ali will crush it! A reboot is welcome. Both gentlemen will always be stand alone in their own wright.

Exactly, this is also how I feel about Robert Downey Jr. As Ironman, Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Harrison Ford as Indian jones, and Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa. Some actors are just irreplaceable for their roles

Wesley is going to be extremely difficult to replace. He was epic as Blade. Sadly, the last installment went badly with the addition of characters that had no place in the Blade world. The first film was the best. Hopefully they will be able to pull off something decent we can all enjoy.

Definitely Wesley Snipes, and I agree, Michael jai White is a close second!!! But David S. Goyer definitely had a personal grude against Wesley!!! Wesley , Stephen Norrington, and Guillermo del Toro were a dynamic team during the filming of Blade 1& 2!!! Because they trusted and respected each other based on their professional experience and expertise!!! Goyer, Triple H, and some of the other writers and actors tried to make Wesley Snipes look bad because he and Wesley had a difference of opinion based on creative control for the direction of blade 3, should go!! Triple H wanted to fight literally with Wesley Snipes!! This is why they blacklisted Wesley Snipes from the blade series!!!

FINALLY! Wesley Snipes’ fans would prefer him to anyone else in the role. STREET-HARDENED, NATIVE NEW YORKER, RARE, DRY \HUMOR, DEAFENINGLY LETHAL. Snipes elevated Blade to sci-fi/ fantasy LEGENDARY status. Blade lll was too funny (sorry Ryan-Deadpool you rock), and turned down (Dracula was introduced well then UNDER-FOUGHT-NOT poorly fought. INSUFFICIENT TIME dedicated to the showdown; Dracula should have escaped Blade but not defeated him-my opinion.) If Ali is MERCENARY, WITHOUT PERSONALITY, DRIVEN, PHYSICALLY OVERWHELMING IN COMBAT (a physically demanding task but not beyond Mr Ali), POWERED UP (like the incredible jumps, wings, through walls?) and REALLY SCAREY (like I may bite you anyway-but just doesn’t)-Ali could definitely pull it off.

Wesley IS Blade. New movie idea: he takes on the bloodsuckers known as the I.R.S.!

Don't get me wrong, I think Mahershala Ali is a tremendously talented actor but Wesley Snipes was not only a good actor but a good martial artist as well. It's hard to fake that, and if there is even one shot where the fight scene doesn't look authentic in this new film, then this will be twilight for the Blade series IMO.

There is ONLY one Blade… and that’s Wesley Snipes. If Snipes is not in this MCU production, I’m not sure how much of a success it will be.
