And that's exactly how they strip us of our cultures and we start to hate ourselves as Africans, that's how we play and that's how we won the AFCON, it's in us that's how we love our game. They'll make you feel like going your way is the wrong way because they are try to westernize your thinking. Brazil played jinga and they still play their own style not westernized in any way just continuously natured and improved from a jinga and samba foundation. They fought for their footballing culture until the world had to adapt to their style now they a cream of the crop of world football. They are the ought most best footballing nation backed up by five world cup championships. I simply mean if we start to embrace ourselves, our roots and culture one day we can be great. I'm all for dribbling and kasi style of football, but what good does it do if it's not for the benefit of the team? We aren't playing alone here we are competing against the world, do you think you'll have time in the EPL standing on top of the ball and not being marked? That's why we don't have players playing at a very top level! Brazil plays its own football, yes! but it's progressive football, Ronaldinho wasn't standing on top of the ball, he was taking players on and making changes for the team. Kasi football alone won't get us anywhere, it needs to be incorporated with other elements for us to be successful in competing against the world

South Africa needs to go back to this kind of football. I remember watching Pirates demolish Tottenham Spurs because of the likes of Tshabalala, Twala, Makanya and Lekoelea. Spurs could not figure out what the hell was going on as they’ve never seen football played that way before. We can’t beat the masters of ball passing at their own game, we need to play street football to be able to beat them. This passing football thing is useless and it’s why we are losing matches these days. We are Africans therefore we must stick to our football culture. We lost all our competitiveness when we started programming our kids in Academies to pass the ball, let’s allow our kids to use their inborn footballing abilities and skills and we’ll get back to our glory days. Last time South Africa won an Afcon cup was 1996, and do you know why that happened, we did not have academy programmed players, we had the likes of Dr. Khumalo, the late Shoes etc, guys that were very much free to express their talent/skills in the field. Now we have robots who are just forcing passing, no skills whatsoever and we expect to win. No!
