Hey everyone! As things are getting tougher than ever on KZread with various new policies & rules, I've decided to start this page where you can support me if you'd like to help out: buymeacoffee.com/razols Any amount would be super appreciated and help me invest more of my time into making videos. I've had my channel for more than 8 years now mainly uploading videos of Roger Federer. This year KZread has implemented some changes to their policies and rules which have made it difficult for many of us amateur channels to keep going, hence why I started the page above. I'm also planning on starting a Patreon page with memberships which will offer some exclusive videos, like the top 1000 video, that I can't currently have up on my channel. Thanks for all the support over the years 🎾🙏

This could not be named a class of tennis, because Ferrero won a set. Gosh looks like anyone knows anything about tennis.
Federer is Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods of tennis as no other player in history has transcended the sport globally beyond stats. The GOAT.

Can you be the GOAT with the stats telling you he’s not though?

@@Phoenixaway yep pretty much has the stats and djokvic and Nadal are 5 years younger which is a monumental advantage in a 1 on 1 sport- and something which they never had to deal with.

@@Phoenixaway I don't think the stats tell the whole story. There's so many scenarios in which I could consider a player the GOAT without having the better stats. Let's say an old school player, at a time where equipment, training and medical wasn't as advanced, you couldn't play as many matches and tournament. Or let's say a player who played the highest level of tennis but had to retire early or couldn't play as much because of injuries. GOAT simply doesn't have a strict definition. For some people it's Borg and I don't think it's wrong to think that. Maybe if Borg was born the same year as Novak he would have done even more damage. People are products of their time and environment, which is why people are wrong to try and put their finger on the one person, the hero, the one that has it in him, the chosen one... Though I like to think of it that way too, but if we're doing that then we've gotta admit the chosen one could very well be Roger, or anybody else, who simply had a different path and circumstances than Novak and that didn't end up with the same record.

@@Phoenixaway Found the insecure Djokovic fanboy. Not everything is about stats. I wish all Djokovic fans knew this.
No matter how much success anyone else has, rarely does such a shotmaker and artist come along.
The backhand is so sweet

Djokovic fans are the epitome of facts over the genuine passion Roger had for the game no number of slams can convey. He made tennis fun to watch, he played risky tennis and is still in the top 3. What else is there to say. Roger may not have the numbers but he has our hearts.

I remember this match. The most beautiful racquet Wilson ever came out with. The BLX pro staff. But during this time Federer still had little bit of his prime left I just wish he went to the bigger racquet and went to the game style he retired with. He definitely would have won more.

At 1:30--It may well be that that shot got him into trouble previously. But, Federer doesn't repeat mistakes; he learns from them and improves.
3:34 backhand here is outrageous. The way his shoulders just opened up, the talent this man had has been unmatched.
With a title like this I would’ve thought Federer had beaten Ferrero 6-2, 6-1, or at least won in straight sets. A three-set victory over a way past-his-prime Ferrero (who retired that September) isn’t all that impressive.
Raz, we all love Roger, but please don’t put other great players in negative context! Juan is grand slam champion and a champion maker.👍🏻👍🏻
He is simply the best❤❤❤❤
incredible points
What a good competitive match. Thank you Raz.
So beautiful. Thanks.

You're kidding right? Borg, Kuerten for example. RF won just one title at RG and by sheer luck.
Magic Federer!!
Whoever wins the number game, after Pete’s 14 slams, Roger did the impossible feat of reaching 20 grand slams and pushed others. And he did it when other two best players of the world existed. Of course Stan, Andy, Juan, cilic, Roddick were also on his tail.
It would have been funny to see a Federer vs Alcaraz tennis match

Wonderful stuff, Raz! I've never seen this one before. It's why Fed is a sui generis genius - virtually every match of his is HL-worthy. One other thing: generally speaking, *is it okay to post snippets from your videos on Twitter (X)?* If yes - how would you like to be credited? I follow your Twitter account, so I can easily attribute the snippet to you. Do let me know. Thanks.

Thanks man! It's okay to do it occasionally, but some people have posted points from all my videos like every day and gaining an audience on Twitter - that I don't like it since I actually download the match, convert it, edit it etc and someone just takes takes points after all the hard work. But do it every now and then and maybe credit my channel, that would be fine :)
flat shots are lightning
Count the DTL BH in this match. I think anyone who played Ferrero always knew that shot was a vulnerability he had. He could be lackadaisical about recovering to the center of the court.
Almost of all their coaches, including Roger’s own coaches were beaten brutally by the GOAT
Ferrero never covers his forehand side, and Federer was able to easily expose that
Hey Raz. I love your channel but I've noticed that more and more videos feature Carlos losing points, seem to be a bit negative and now this. What's up? Carlos has contributed to so many exciting highlight reels.

Which videos are you refering to? I’ve made one about his insane points lost in 2023, which also is credit to him making the points amazing. Don’t worry, I got plenty of Alcaraz videos coming up! Edit: Realized I made another one about tasting his own medicine in regards to drop shots. So two videos in total but I’ve made over 20+ videos of Alcaraz in ”positive light” if you want to label it that way - probably more videos on him than any other YT channel. Like I said, don’t worry, I appreciate his game a lot!
