The style will have to grow on most people (Hell the MK4 is still trying to make its way into aesthetic likability), but DZ is on the right track with what they offer here. Good job.

I do prefer springers, and I don't really like the styling that much, but man, you can't deny that it's an effective powerhouse of a blaster.

The mk3 is still viable because it has a mechanical trigger, it's rate of fire is slower in full auto but that can be fixed with minor mods

Yeah, I am not a fan of that response delay. In both semi and burst fire, it only seems marginally better than the Elite Regulator. Mechanical hybrid trigger truly was the way forward. Just integrate the burst fire electronically. I would've also preferred if DZ kept the battery tray with the XT-60 so we'd have the option for LiPos while still being marketable for entry level, than with Li-On.

Yeah, I just did a mk 3 build. It will be used for hvz because of the mechanical/ electronic pusher system. However one of these would be great for super stock wars. I am definitely doing a build on an omia

This blaster is one I’m really excited for

My only beef is that there's no way to mount front grips or side rails. I like to run boopers or a mighty mama on my flywheelers, and I don't want them in my line of sight on the top rail.

The Omnia Pro is just absolutely everything I've ever wanted in a flywheeler! Well, everything except for an MP5K style vertical foregrip, but perhaps Foam Pro Shop could remedy that little oversight? >.>

Im excited for this one. I like its ability to a use li-on battery. Lipos are great when I go to big games, but for smaller, impromptu backyard games... It seems perfect

I don't buy or use flywheel blasters anymore, but i have to admit that is an amazing all-in-one powerhouse blaster. The DZ Max line continues to the best. The design is not bad, better than the Mk3, but I wish it had a slightly longer barrel attachment.

Man just bump up the fps limits man, my group went from 130 Flywheels & 160 springers to 200 for any blaster. Made everything easier for everyone.

Amazing to see these companies becoming more hobby grade - grab yourself a lipo safety bag As someone whom drives rc's regularly and uses lipos I'd highly suggest getting yourself a fire retardant lipo safety bag as to be safe 👍 Seen wayy to many house fires start because people have let them go volatile without a protective case

I know for some it's a little bit split with the styling on DZP blasters recently, this and Mk4 in particular, but I think they not only look rad but are a lot safer. When a lot of the competitive-level blasters are going a little more mil-sim in look (it feels like, Trion and Harrier come to mind), I appreciate the DZ stuff largely looking sci-fi and exaggerated to have a much safer silhouette that carries even if the blaster is painted. And aesthetics aside, this looks fantastic. Love that it's dedicated half-dart, select-fire, and LiPo out of the box with two mags. My only thing is that the burst is a bit sluggish feeling, notably slower rof than full auto. But I guess in dart blasting, that can have its own uses. All that below $100? Wild compared to what I honestly expected.

Hope that catches on. That's perfect. Hogs are actually cute, but this blaster is an ugly hog.

The biggest issue I have with it is the delay in trigger pull.. especially in semi-auto mode.

They need to make a reliable AEB blaster I think it would be nice with them and they make good stuff for a cheaper price. They are for sure are making blasters better and cheaper

I have seen it myself. It is larger than a stryfe and smaller than an MK3. It’s also a lot thinner than the MK3.

@@xxljimmy between which flywheeler? I will assume you meant the stryfe and MK3. The Omnia on the full auto setting beats both of those blasters fire rates since it shoots ~7 darts per seconds and I doubt semi auto can be shot that fast in normal conditions. The dart zone pro mk3 on full auto only shoots 4 darts a second

Do Li-Ion Batteries need any sort of special treatment like the LiPo's do? You didn't really talk much about that.

I was getting so annoyed that they were calling it a lipo. I felt like it was really misleading. But I think it was just the marketing guys not knowing the difference.

3s lipo i would assume can get you to 200.

I don't like blasters that use rechargeable batteries like that because you can't just keep them charged and shelf them until you want to have a spontaneous nerf battle. So I'm gunna stick with the mk 3

It seems as if the DZ line is getting kind of muddied. When the DZ pro line emerged, I was seriously impressed with an extremely performance-oriented, yet affordable line of blasters coming out. I'm the satisfied owner of a couple DZ Pro blasters. Then I begin seeing the Max line. Another impressive line of blasters, but they are of the Max line rather than the Pro line, yet both lines seem to be rather great. So here's my question, how's Dart Zone, and Prime Time Toys in general, differentiating these lines? What sets the Pro line apart from the Max line? I'm not throwing fire bombs here, or trying to stir the pot. I just want to understand. Thoughts anybody?

From what I understand, pro line is ready to be used at a super high level, hence the "pro" for professional games I guess. Max are high performance blasters that are less customizable as a stock blaster, so no spring swaps or scars included, but can be modded to hit higher performance. TLDR, pro is modular, max is meant more for DIY, but both can be modded and are high performance.

Generally as well the pro line is meant to feel more premium to the hand and use more expensive parts. An example is the Stryker vs the Dart Zone MK1 line

Nah. Not feeling this one. Very, very minor improvements over the MK 3, and for every new thing I like, they've done something I don't like. I don't think this was even meant to be upgrade for pro users, it's more of an equivalent that is aimed at people who are just entering the hobby, or just getting into flywheelers.

Full auto in this is just a waste with the mag being such a low capacity. FA really only works in rival where you can hopper 50+ rounds

Big surprise! He didn't mention the battery it comes with because it's not a lipo. You can use a 3s lipo in the mk3, but not in this thing. It's ugly and cheap in more ways than the price. It's not for serious players who use modded blasters with lipos. It's for the average consumer. The mk3 was a good starting point. This is 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

My modder friend was very disappointed in the use of a lithium-ion battery instead of a lipo. To him, the lithium-ion was a bad choice because it will drain quickly, and then if there is a jam, something will burn out, possibly the board, but most likely a switch. I'm not a modder, so I can't speak to any of that. All I know is you can use the mk3 on 3s, but you can't use the omnia on 3s because they (dart zone) said you shouldn't. Until I learned that I was gonna get one.

But again this is $90 half length dedicated 2 mags select fire with burst 160 fps out of the box blaster. To hate on it just because it's lithium ion instead of lipo...if you want lipo go get an MK3

@bryansellers6271 the mk3 is now $60. Over time, the price is irrelevant. What matters is how cheap the internals are. The internals of the mk3 are better than the omnia because of the option to run it on AAs, 2s, or 3s. I understand why they didn't make it so it can run on 3s, but by doing so, they made an uglier cheaper version of the mk3 that has slightly better performance with select fire, but it's unadaptable to different fps caps because it can't run on different power sources. If they simply made an mk3.1 with an increased rate, I'd have zero complaints. Everything about the mk3 is perfect except the rate of fire. The omnia is a cash grab because it's the cheapest possible version of what it is. If they made it like the mk3, but with better motors, it could've worked in the 150 cap games on AAs, or 200 cap games on 3s. It's a linier step, not a step forward. They would've sold fewer if they made it run on 3s, but didn't include a lipo. They would've sold a lot more if they made it run on multiple power sources, even if it cost as much as the mk3 did initially. Like I said, I'm only gonna get one when it's super cheap, and then pay my modder friend to make it able to run on 3s.
