Gotta be straight, I am NOT a Sheeran fan. I don't necessarily dislike him, I can just take it or leave it. But this was not about Ed's cookie cutter lyrics and song writing. This was a bunch of musicians having a good time on stage. How can you not be a fan of that?

The Darkness deserves much more subscribers than 100k. I wish people could realize like I did that they're not some joke band, and they have a catalogue filled with fantastic songs. Twenty years ago I remember seeing the music video for I believe in a thing called love, and immediately went out and bought the CD after hearing their other hit, growing on me. Justin Hawkins rides again is a great channel too. I don't know what more you could want from a band. They do heavy and soft songs equally, have some of the coolest guitar solos, have great music videos, play great live, and are genuinely good people. Here's to 2024 being the year of The Darkness.

Since then I've been to hundreds and I've seen pretty much every rock band worth seeing, AC/DC, maiden, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Van Halen, Priest, Aerosmith etc etc on and on... all of them. It constantly amazes me that The Darkness, after their initial fame, have dropped off most peoples' radar, because they are without doubt one of the very best rock n roll groups, ever. Sad to think that people won't realise this until after they've eventually split up. The Darkness are sheer class. Thanks guys, you even make Ed Sheeran cool 😎

@@O-M-A-D That’s tough without knowing what kind of music you’re into. He has spanned many genres over the years. But there’s a reason he is so respected by numerous other artists, from Eminem to Elton John to The Darkness to Beyonce and Taylor Swift. I have no idea if you’ll like it, but this video is a lot more reflective of his abilities and roots as an artist. Keep in mind that everything you hear in this is just him, his voice, and a loop pedal, created on the spot.
