@@0whispersinthedark0 You're awesome, stick to it. I'm neurodivergent (not med diagnosed ASD) I found the music I could not "feel" very hard to learn. My teacher is very flexible on how I learn and works with me. Currently working on Bach cello suite #1, The Cranberries Zombie, and of course scales. You got this.

I’ve been playing for 16 years, I play all the stringed instruments cello will always be my favorite I am lucky to own a extremely sought after cello it is old from the 1500ds and absolutely beautiful sounding. I wrote a song similar to this and I just love hearing this kind of music knowing others enjoy it too

Cello is the most beautiful instrument and takes skill to play it. This is the best music for cello. Well done!

I’m a guitarist and have always loved that deep, resonant sound of a cello that I could never really achieve on my own instrument. Beautiful playing!

Ahh, truly a melancholic piece. The sound of sadness accompanied by loneliness (its how i hear it) is just beautiful and sad.

Gives me “sun rising on a grateful universe” vibes and I love it

This got me to pick up a cello a year and a half ago. I haven’t stopped a day yet and don’t plan on it. I am so grateful for Aimee and Hendyamps.

Letting something go, when there is so little left to hold. That's the scene this plays out as in my mind when I close mt eye's and listen.

This song was used for me and my husband to walk down the aisle for our Halloween wedding this year… completely perfect🖤🦇

This made me cry. Whether happiness or sadness, I don’t know. But this is absolutely- I am speechless with its beauty.

If you mean a big pipe organ... Yeah I'd add that! But it's more powerful than emotionally renching! Some of the tones from cellos and French horns can just pull your heart out! The pipe organ just doesn't have quite the impact On me, now... It might be different for you. That's just my opinion. I try to never down play anyone's emotional attachment/attraction to music. That can start as many if not more arguments than religion or politics!! But yeah the organ can be a very emotional instrument! Have a great day!

Best of luck with that I did a complete restoration of one that was over 200 years old and basically came as a box of bits. Took nearly 2 years to get it back together again. But we'll worth it in the end as it is a superb instrument that leaves many other cellos standing.

Cello: Rich, deep, powerful, and tugs at your very being when you hear it.

A composer myself, this is a great song. Has a very Viking-y/Nordic feel to it. I like to write songs that have been influenced and inspired by Scandinavian culture.

I understand this "dark" music might sound sad to some, but to me this music makes me feel some of the HAPPIEST I ever felt. I have persistent depressive disorder where I feel an undertone of sadness on a daily basis despite a lovely life. I kinda describe it as I experience the world through a blue tinged filter everyday. Anyway - I feel like this music resonates with thatt dark part of me but instead of amplifying sadness, I feel beauty amplified. I feel like this music is the soundtrack to my day to day, and it makes me really happy, because there's a beauty you can only experience through sadness. The weeping of this cello as an example. Super thankful to have found this music!

I've played flute since I was a child, a sort of accidental choice. Have always envied and admired the deep, dark sounds of the cello. Love it! Such a great atmosphere

God, that was powerful!! Thank you so much. I was needing something just like this.

In contrast to his fond memories, the land that lay before him was a far cry from those pleasant times. The sky was grey and overcast, the land was ashen and bare. What had become of the hero's homeland in his absence. As he rode through the wasted landscape, he came upon a grim village. He looked down from his horse at a young child standing by the road. Pale and emaciated, the sight of the child broke the hero's heart, he reached into his bag and offered the child a bread ration. The child took the food greedily and hurried behind one of the dilapidated huts. With each step into the blighted land, the hero knew he must do whatever he could to help

Such a beautiful and emotional instrument- and exquisitely played. Thank you.

Do it! I wanted to learn when I was 15. I finally started at 51.

I love the cello. I went into 5th grade thinking that I’d want to play the violin or something for school, but then I heard the cello being played by one of the instructors and it was instant love. I still play mine every now and then. Nothing can beat the beautiful tone of a cello. It is one of the most magnificent instruments ever made.

The raw emotion in this song is impossible to describe outside of a dream or poem

It connects with my heart as if it runs in my blood..

This is so beautiful and haunting! Yet, why is it so short? This lulls me to a sense of comfort and then the silent end makes me feel like I never want to wake up.

This music feels like it's the climax of a life or death scene in a tv/movie/anime, and the protagonist contemplates their decisions on whether or not they have to take this action and if it is morale enough to go through with it; ultimately breaking down because in the end, they don't have the will to go through with it or knows it is morally wrong to do so. I love this and I'm saving this to my music folder.

Hauntingly beautiful can mean something seen, heard or read, meaning the beauty you see in it takes on special meaning and you almost always have a physical reaction to it. You get chills, your gut aches, your heart aches, you tear up. You want to see, hear or read it over and over again.
