"Oscars are sexist becuase they didn't nominated Gerwig". They're literally nominated another woman this year - Justine Trier and she definitely did better job at directing. And also she didn't got nominated not because Oscars are sexist (they definitely were but now i don't think so) but because this these 5 nominated directors did their job better. Goddamn, 2024 was really stacked. And what's the problem with "Poor Things" being directed by a man like wtf it was more feminist than the "Barbie" and it was better executed. I really agreed with your video on Grammys - I agree they are sexist and racist, but arguments in this video are so weak. Also winning an award should be based on the perfomance, not by race. I'm glad Da'Vine Joy Randolph won an award because she really deserved that but people saying that Lily should've won because "it would be nice to give to Native American"... It's completely missing the point of the awards.

Fair enough and I agree, some of my arguments are weak. Like I said, the Oscars have definitely made progress and most of everyone is deserving of their wins. I appreciate your input and I’ll keep your points in mind for future videos

Yeaaa I love most of his movies but I cannot support Maestro after that interview

I only disagree with one thing you said. Poor thing, was one of the worst movies of 2023. I had to walk out 45 minutes into to & to stay that long was a struggle.

I definitely hear where you are coming from and I did feel similar at the beginning of the movie. It’s less uncomfortable as the movie goes on, but you still cringe for most of the movie.
