Tbh, I think it would arguably be more interesting if it’s Tech who’s been repurposed as a dark trooper. Where it’s revealed that Hemlock found either a seriously injured or dying/ dead Tech and experimented on him by reviving & modifying him. As his intelligence would be very useful for the Empire and it would hit the Bad Batch harder if it’s revealed that the brother they believed had died sacrificing himself for them, is now hunting them.

I think this would be a great idea for any series but star-wars, death has been shown to mean practically nothing presently, techs death being permanent could be the first step towards returning death to the galaxy far far away

I think he is Arc trooper blitz, he was still on Kamino so I assume since the empire noticed he was one of the few arc troopers left they promoted him to become a new arc clone assassin

I believe that the mysterious clone is actually just altered crosshair, and he has some cop out reality check by omega that wakes him up bc now he’s only a piece of what he used to be, and a machine for the empires destruction to be thrown away. Or some garbage like that, and we know that omega is going to tell him tech died, and that too would push him back to joining the crew again. This show is really good at times, and really shallow when it needs depth, I can already predict how most the show might go beyond their one off antic episodes that lead no where

I think there is a flaw there, because as we saw Crosshair does escape and meet Wrecker and Hunter. All though it could be him turned around after some traumatic event, but the squad has already tried that before and it didn't work. So with his head being manipulated I don't think he'll fall for it again.

This background works in your studio. The sign is a little washed out, but still readable. The background is very clean and dark allowing us to focus our attention on you. The camera position and distance are perfect. We were led to believe that he went AWOL, but in reality, that was probably the excuse given to explain capturing him to Mt. Tantiss to be 'transformed,' much like Gregor would have been if not rescued by the Bad Batch. This would perfectly fit into DR. Hemlock's use of 'aging clones' as a solution for some other problems. To be honest, this season is turning out to be overwhelming in terms of theories. There are so many theories trying to fill up plot holes and explain stories that need to be connected to 'Rebels,' the OT, and explaining the Sequels. cody deserting the empire is a mystery itself same as the clone crosshair had to report CC 1226

I doubt this new Clone Assassin is Cody because we do see him without his helmet on in a brief scene he is missing the cicatrice that Cody has on his face but I'm not rolling out the possibility that there might be more Clone Assassins that might show up and one of them could be Cody

Alright so I went back and watched the scene you were talking about because I thought I might have missed that but Rex never brought up identifying marks what he said is all of his identifying numbers were wiped likely referring to the CT number but I still believe that there are likely more Clone Assassins and Cody could be one of them so I do agree with you that Cody might be a Clone Assassins I just don't think it's the one we see in the trailer

I'm thinking its a step forward in introducing SCAR Squadron. I don't think they can repurpose Cody as an Assassin Clone. Cody is a Commander, he's more of a leader. Yes, he's been on the frontlines countless of times but in terms of special Forces he entrusts it to Captain Rex, Clone Commandos or the Bad Batch for it. They have different types of clones and they excel in certain aspects of the GAR. Naturally they'll use Clones to what they're good at.

i think the clone is another crosshair they were taking blood samples and dna at tantus plus crosshairs arm seems to be messed up, alot of people are saying its ptsd but in my personal experience of having cptsd i never experienced hand tremors but i understand ptsd is one of those things that affect each case differently

So we know for sure that s3 has a winter soldier style twist that was confirmed meaning this clone assasin is either tech or cody personally id rather have a reunion and fight between rex and cody that maybe results in cody's trahic death i dont want tech back his sacrifice was great and it would just feel like a cop-out if he were brought back as an enemy especially after we already had crosshair betray the team and become an enemy

That is a good idea for seasons three I bet we will learn many things in this season about the dark trooper program zero at one point who now tech could still be alive it’s a fifty to fifty percent chance he could be a dark trooper he could be dead let’s see about that.

I believe it's Boba Fett. He would be around 15 by the time of s3.. he was 11 in 22 BBY, 13 in 20 BBY, Empire founded in 19 BBY, s3 is 18-17BBY. He would be of interest to the clone testing too.

Cody also being trained by the first ARCs he would've most likely followed in his brothers steps and joined the man calorie s as have a lot of commanders and ARCs

Thanks so much Tony!! Yeah I’m still trying to work on that background sign. I may eventually have to go a different direction, but I’m waiting for one more Important piece to come in. It’s something that I’m super excited about. I’ll do an unboxing video for it. As for so many theories, yeah this could end up going in so many different directions. It’s part of the fun of the fandom, but it can also take away from it, if things don’t live up to all of these wild theories. I’m definitely excited for the Bad Batch!

After so many theories that went out the window on Ahsoka and some Marvel series, yes I agree, there becoming a distraction and it is taking away the fun of watching and discovering something new instead of checking-off (yea i was right). Some fans get upset that these don't pann out and having yet another item to hate on. I perfere watching channels that provide more details after the fact. Something you do very well. I have no issue with recaps and information that could help the viewer get up to speed before a season. Tony

in legends, Cody was repurposed as a phase 0 Dark Trooper, so this is possible.

It’s gotta be tech, there’s no way it’s not see think about it like this, Remember the finale of S2 tech falls from really high up now it’s logical he’d be dead but him being a main character and all they might’ve gave him “the Winter soldier treatment” and took him in, and like you said in the video “Repurpose their bodies” so they might’ve taken techs body and did something to him and altered his mind in the process to be on the empires side. But hey this is just a theory.

Tech is dead or on Tantiss, the operative is definitely not Tech. Most likely will be Cody. While the current storyline is not exactly like the legends, it’s roughly following the flow of legends. (Where clone rebellion appears and is destroyed etc). If the operatives are the start of dark trooper program, then it makes sense that Cody is the start of it as in legends Cody was part of the dark trooper program.

We see the s3 clone assassin without his helmet in the trailer, and it's not cody because he doesn't have the scar on the left side of his face, so it's not cody. But if theres more we aren't seeing, maybe one of them is cody,

Great video. But my theory is different. Tech is the perfect candidate for a cyborg Darktrooper, which may be completely different from the clone assassin. They could simply be an evolution of the Covert Ops clones we saw in the toy line. I don't believe Cody would be turned into an assassin. He's too wise and benevolent. He did execute Order 66, but that seems like a wake up call. We will see very soon! 😶‍🌫️

Correction: The Dark Troopers from the Mandalorian are NOT Phase 3. They are a different breed all together. We see the phase 0 Dark Trooper in Star Wars Battlefront 2 2005, we see the Phase 1-3 of the Dark Trooper in Star Wars Dark Forces, and never again until the Mandalorian. In Dark Forces the Phase 2 and 3 Dark Troopers are not droids but rather more like Star Wars' equivalent of Halo's Spartan II's. Cybernetic super soldiers in a high tech war suit.

Hemlock is so calm and he lacks empathy. From what I see he is a full on psychopath Makes demented experiments, lacks empathy, emotionless, exploitive and also charming. Kinda explains why he is such a good villian, he is charming yet you fear him at the same time. On top of that he is so calm.

The obvious sign to me of who the assassin is the sight optic flipped up on the right side of his helmet, it's just like Crosshairs. Trailers always throw the sequencing of events out of order. I think it's him at some point in the series.
