You said it almost exactly like I was going to. I'm so not entertained by contemporary wrestling. Just after living thru The Attitude Era, there is no way it's ever gonna get better, so I watch all of stuff on what went behind the best period of wrestling.

Exactly the purpose of these documentaries. Meant to make them more relatable so you spend more of your time and money. 👍🏼🐑 I gotta tell you, most people get arrested 8+ times, have a famous dad and doors opened just because of our last name... So relatable. 🤡🐑 This guy is just copy and pasting someone else's work and talking over it like he knows or did any real research. It's lazy and shouldn't be rewarded.

The back stories and the depressing pitfalls all went to make this blessing of a man such a success that we all admire and love. May we who watch this documentary be motivated and inspired to be our best and use the setbacks like lifting weights and accepting resistance as part the process to make us stronger to achieve whichever goals we set out to. The Rock "Rocky Maivia" was the original Maven way before Maven ever came about; and that line from Patterson about "Yeah, at least they are chanting your name" was something else about the crowds reticule. I have never been on drugs, or in trouble with the law, and did graduated from high school. Never once has he spoken encouragingly to me. Even now, more then 20 years after his dead, I have no idea why my father hated me so much. Believe me, I can imagine how Dwayne felt because he thought his father rejected him. BUT, this is more as a ODE to Dwayne, and I love it. He is a big fellow with a gigant heart.

Exacts! The WWE was literally going to get rid of him, and putting him in the NOD was a last ditch throwaway effort. Funny how when he acknowledged his black heritage, he became a star. What did he do once he became a star? Went right back to acknowledging his Samoan heritage and ignoring his black heritage. He was once an amazing start, but now he just rests on his past accomplishments and is no where near as entertaining as he once was. Rock used to be so naturally charismatic, but now everything is so forced. As far as his acting goes, he plays the same character in every role.
