It makes me sick to see albums discarded. There are fans who can't afford an album and would love to have your unwanted items.

There are many fans who stand outside the stadiums not having funds to buy a ticket or albums. I wish people would collect those discarded albums and give them to these fans. I am sure they would greatly appreciate it.

It breaks my heart to seeFan‘s having to pay outrageous money to collect photos that are supposed to be free with the album and then now they’re putting in tickets to these events to see the albums just being tossed because they don’t need so many and others can’t purchase the albums because they can’t afford them so sad

What is the point of having so many versions of an album? I know it's only for charts... Like 20+versions is crazy. 4 is enough. Just look at BTS, they are the biggest group in the world but they never sold more than 4 versions of any of their albums. BE had 1 version and Proof had 2 versions. This should be a standard. I know that many western artists do this too like Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodriguez, so on. The main purpose is to top the chart, especially Billboard 200 chart. Groups like Bp, sk, nj, etc were topped the because of that like with 18+ versions. It's disappointing but it's a fact.

i think it is wrong to trick fans like that but it´s also a problem in JYP at the moment it´s not only svt. sure BTS also have fans who buy more than one but i see a big difference in who is buying. BTS fans mainly buy to support the BTS not to get a photocard sure some do but it´s very small compared to other fandoms that i see. Army love to display the albums they have a gallery of BTS related things. but as you see here albums laying in the street does not speak well of the fandom who support the artist. it´s just for selfish reasons.

Happens that in Korea the albums costs WAY LESS than in other countries 💿… as the video says the album of SVT cost 14,300 won, which in dollars it costs around $10-$11 dollars 💵😮, maybe that’s why it’s easy for Korean fans buy a ton of albums 💿🙂🥲… Me for example 😅, I bought that album and costed me $50 dollars 🫡💸💔, because I’m buying it with a seller that dedicates in get K-Pop albums 😮… since there I’m paying the album, the shipping and the service 😅…

I guess they shld imposed a limited versions of albums (ex. 4 versions max) so this will not be costly for fans if they want to purchase all versions. Also, this will make a fair count of album sales unlike now that some are coming out with as many versions as they want to boost their sales.

This happens all over not just kpop! In the us franchises and artists sell merchandise like that with specific toys or merch in each item sold encouraging people to collect all of them. McDonalds for instance had beanie babies in happy meals to collect, people would buy multiple meals for the toys then throw away the extra food, or with their monopoly games you had to buy specific food items to get game pieces to win. It’s sad but has been going on forever.

The problem is the companies using photo cards and such to lure fans into buying albums not for the music but for the other benefits just to increase the album sales. The fan meets, photo cards and other things should be sold separately instead of with albums. But I guess they don't want to do that because then the actual number of albums being sold would properly reflect the REAL popularity of the artist - and we can't have that now can we?

To kpop factories you are useless as fan then. Whole business is relying on what fans buy. And these aten't only albums, but also merchandise, clothes, what fans advertise etc. Fans are directly financing kpop factories and make them rich. This is because young people in Korea are simply too rich. They have too much money to spend. This model can't be successful in Western country not only because of different culture but also because average Western family strugles more in comparison to average Korean family, is more sustainably oriented, people are saving all lifem and so on and so forth. Koreans are all about instant spending and zero about long term saving. They are very hedonistic oriented. So they buy and buy and consume and consume. And if you give them product that they can consume daily, they will daily spend money on it. So they do. But companies give them emotional pleasure for what they are doing, and that pleasure if packed in cleverly constructed idea that each fan is in personal relationship with idol. In intimate obe. That's while whole hocus pocud when idol wants to date because fans feel that ifil is cheating on them. Sick and evil circle. Sick and so wrong business model, what to say.

I think if you are choosing how to spend your money, it is not being exploited. You are doing what makes you happy. However, you should be responsible for any content you don’t want. It costs money for your artist to produce music. It could take 6 months to produce an ep. Buying the album instead or as part of streaming helps your artist to live in between albums and funds the jobs connected with creating the albums. If I can afford it, I will buy the albums of my favs.

Not in favour of the photocard stuff and fan meeting colletors etc. But to say it's time for better quality music is really an insult. The music could be the best, the issue with the collecting would still be there. What is needed is some kind of random lottery of ppl paying for membership for attending fan signs, and giving all albums the same photocards. The music is already good in many instances and can atay the same.

Why not just do free album giveaways at events? At least, that'll let some of them go to use. As an album collector, I don't want albums to not be made, but I wouldn't say no to a hybrid sales model, with a digital and physical album version, and also have the extra photocards and stuff be sold separately, as well as being part of the album.

I never liked concept of basing whole business on fans and this is why I'm so critical about kpop companies. This model is main reason why fascist rule is imposed on idols and other celebs, why they aren't allowed to date and have normal life, but have to live based on dictate of knetz and other so called fans. Idols are de facto pushed in status of slavery in relations to fans because if things aren't as fans demand, fans will boycott streamings and buying merchandise etc. which means lower profits for kpop factories. This is why idols are slaves to fans. They are abused emotionally and have to do addtional emotional labour because this type of emotional exploiting of idols is what pleases fans. This model HAS TO CHANGE and has to be marked as illegal. Private life of idols should be protected by law, which includes also emotional labor and emotional exploatation, such frequent direct communications with fans on live platforms, explaining and announcing who they date and begging for approval etc. No other Korean is forced to write public letter to whole Korean nation to announce they are dating and ask nation for approval. But idols are forced to do that. These practices should be marked as illegal, PERIOD. And stop squeezing fans financially and then substitute this with emotional exploitation of idols and making idols their personal physical and emotional slaves. Because this is nothing but pure fascism.

@@alketadashaj9230 it is quid pro quo situation for fans. For fans to be exploited by kpop factories (I use term "factory" to emphasise darcasm), they are allowed to exploit idols in worst possible ways. Which is shameful. While fans financing that industry directly is decision of each and every fan individually, idols have no choices# no options. They are de facto slaves of fans. Much more than "slaves" to their companies (cases of physical and mental abuse, underpayment, excessive long trainings for very young people and excessive and forced labour of underaged people within entertainment industry, etc, unfair contracts up to 7 or 12 years etc.), because for fans they are forced not only in physical labour (gigs, concerts, promotions etc.), but also in emotional labour (firect contacts with fans, constant feeding fans with fan's expectations, being avaliable to fans 24/7, no private life whatsoever without fans approval, etc. Look Karina had to split with that actor because fans demanded so. This is abnormal. Not to mention child labour which is illegal. People think about child labour only in terms of infian children working in Nestle's factory. What about children in kpop industry? You are still child at 13 or 16. You are legally minor till 18. And those younger than 16 are exposed to excessive working hours too, and emotional abuse by everybody - from company staff to fans. This for sure is illegal. But Korean govs decided to turn blind eye on this for sake of economic growth. Human rights of idols is last thing they care about. But idols aren't separate race in Korean constitution, like black race in South Africa ynder apartheid. Cinstitution gives them equal rights as to any other Korean citizen. Then why nobody raises question of their legal protection against abuse with characteristics of slavery, and about their human rigts? I know idols themselves won't do that, but why are civil right groups in SK so quiet???
