I don’t know about y’all but I genuinely love all of the games from this series

Really hoping they lean into the horror aspects more than they did in House of Ashes which was more of an action military rpg. This developer really has the potential to create true horror but for some reason they like to veer on the side of teen thriller with some cheap BS twist at the end. This trailer looks really promising!

I remember a while ago I read a comment theorizing that they were basically making an anthology out of classic horror cliches. The cliches would be the theme of the games, and that honestly seems the most plausible to me! Edit: instead of cliche I mean just overall horror genre like psychological ones or like sci-fi

@@Jmespo83 IMO Until dawn and the Qaurry are the best ones. They’re longer than the Anthologies so they have more characters and more time to get attached with the characters. You coukd go in release order bjt if I were you I’d skip “little hope”

This game is reminds me of The Shining and Saw

I can't wait to play this when it comes out. I'm getting a mix of Saw & murder mystery due to the H.H Homes hotel. Might become my favorite of the series

I'm still hoping they will make a game with co-op like this but also with the length of until dawn and the quarry.

Love the Dark Anthology series… Played every one of them as multiplayer makes the game something else. Can’t wait for this chapter in a hotel so many movies they can draw upon in this one Keep them coming 🤙🏼

I honestly thought the twist was actually pretty clever. And while it may seem like your actions mount up to nothing at all, many of the decisions you make do accumulate to a certain point where it'll make an impact as to where that said twist is going to lead up to in the end. Still, I think Until Dawn is by far the best Supermassive game to date. Something about that game just makes it so unique, especially when it was around the times when these decision-making games were at its most popular.

The Dark Pictures Anthology is made by Supermassive Games, which also made Until Dawn and the Quarry. They definitely know what they’re doing!

Awesome! I just hope they keep up with these stories actually happening and not ending it with "and it was all a dream!!" Little Hope and Man of Medan were great but at the end I was so disappointed to see it was just all in everyone's head.

Clearly it won’t since House of Ashes did not have that aspect to it. This game is based on the murder hotel that existed in real life. So it’s literally guaranteed to not have a twist ending like that

@@jacobduffles-andrade8485 well, because house of ashes had only 2 breaks with the storyteller and the other ones having much more, it is possible that they wrote that out in the last second because people were mad for it being in medan and little hope. You actually find a document which says something about hallucination.

This looks amazing. Been a fan since Until Dawn and i absolutely love this series
