Agreed. But the price they charge for them isn't worth it. Especially when the first two were no longer than 3 hours long. And they charged around $70 (aud) at release.

Lol yea. It’s different compared to other games in the sense that those are actual games and this is more some crappy horror movie that you get to “control.” It gives you the worst of both worlds. A bad game and a bad movie.

The monsters are no hallucinations, that's pretty much the best thing you could do to elevate the previous two games.

If you played the others and thought they were 'meh' you'll enjoy this one alot more. The story is better paced and the characters are interesting and easy to get behind. Solid 8/10 game.

SOLID 8/10. And after they patch some of the bug, glitches and graphical issues 9/10. Absolutely amazing graphics, story, characters, character development. Etc. Really well done 👏

Until Dawn was amazing to me so this review addressed all of my questions in pretty short order

Jason and Salim growing together as best friends was the most wholesome thing ever.

Just finished my first playthrough. This game is the best in the series.

There’s a section like the Descent, but IMO it’s more like The Cave (2005), and then it turns into Aliens.

Yeah one is a British game company and the other is a french game company. They aren't the same. Heavy rain, beyond two souls, amd Detroit: become human are all the same devs. Meanwhile Super Massive Games made Until dawn and the last 3 entries of the Dark pictures anthology.

This game is not a horror game, there was one jump scare at the start, then it just turns into a survival movie game, nothing compared to little hope or even man of Medan, there was also no mystery for the monsters, they just show you straight away which takes away all the suspense.

One of the best examples on how to write a diverse cast without it being woke garbage. The guy from Iraq was by far my favorite character in the game.

Regardless of what the review is I'm just going to play it anyway.

@Angel Perez they're Games that you can make your OWN choices that have different outcomes and ending. They're Infinitely Amazing Games and are FUN to play obviously. Plus you can reply them over and over again to see different things. Of course

Have not gotten this one yet, need to finish man of medan and little hope. Tend to play those during "movie nights" with friends over.

Sorry but this is not an 8/10. It would be an 8/10 movie but as far as video games go; this experience was a lengthy cut scene. It’s a solid 6/10

What’s funny is that we actually accused Saddam but went for his archeology research and regretted it. Stargate, demons, controversial histories. Funny how that bit survived in public media.

yeah, but the story itself makes up for ANY shortcoming this game might have! Absolutely stunning storyline!

Between bearing updates, scene variations, and in retrospect the best cast rivalled only by The Devil in Me’s characters so far. You don’t have to like Rachel, but Ashley Tisdale being in the game did not hold it back particularly. Characters were definitely an issue, especially the shoehorned plot armor towards the end between three characters out of the five.

Hmm interesting maybe they should give you more control during combat situation. Push it more towards The Order 1886 but also keeping everything else their games are known for.

Honestly im just glad that House of Ashes had a physical enemy, unlike the last 2 games
