someone tried to do magic on my family, after that my sister was born premature, but Alhamdulillah she survived, but after that one more sister was born premature too, but unfortunately she died, the magic was done by tying knots on my mother's scarf, well we immediately opened the knots after we saw it, but still everything happens by Allah's will no doubt.

‘Evil ones’ embraces all evil beings, whether they belong to the human species or to the jinn. Here the reference seems to be to both. When moral and material decline set in among the Israelites, they were overwhelmed with slavery and ignorance, with misery and poverty, and with humiliation and decadence. The Quran explicitly states that Harut and Marut taught those who insisted, Kufr. Im sorry i may have to reject the latter.

Its the same like Satan was created before humans ever existed. Definitely Allah already knows what Satan and Man will do. These knowledge is beyond us. So we do what is adviced, and we stay away that which is not allowed.

I think you don’t have a misunderstanding of what a test is brother. It’s like in the army had very rigorous tests and that’s how the very few passed to special forces if we didn’t have those test than all 100,000 troops can call them selfs commandos and not just the 5,000 who passed. If Allah stoped all evil then what is the point of this world we all would be in the next world many complaining what did we do to deserve hell 🤷‍♂️

I am kinda confused. By him saying not to believe and not to practice, does he mean not to believe black magic exist? Sorry I understood the entire thing except for this and I hope someone can answer my doubts.

you must believe it exists because it is mentioned in the quran. what he means is you believe in islam as a practice and you dont believe in magic and worshipping jinn as a practice.

Believe in the existence of Magic, but do NOT practice it. Islam is SO HATED because it is the only religion that understands, knows and warns people how evil and dark it is, no matter how pleasant it seems to some, because it is a trap.

It's just like believing in Allah as your Lord and worshipping Him, whilst rejecting satan by not worshipping him. It doesn't mean satan doesn't exist.

God created magic first then cursed it and anyone who practiced magic for darkness or light.

The angels were not the origin of magic. Yasir started his entire hypothesis of “origin” of magic on this false premise because he started from the later part of the verse while ignoring the first half. The verse explicitly states that the shayateen taught mankind magic AFTER the death of Suleiman, AND what was revealed to Harut and Marut. This tells you two things: 1. Magic first originated from the jinn, after the death of Sulaiman A.S. They taught people this magic and it became rampant among the jewish community in babylon. 2. To further test the people, Allah later revealed something else as well through Harut and Marut. Allah didnt use the word sehr when mentioning what Harut and Marut taught. The best explanation of what this thing was that Harut and Marut taught, mentioned in several tafaseer, is that the angels taught the people the reality behind the magic, since it was already around them. Therefore it was a “fitnah”. Since people could learn from the angels the reality of magic in order to avoid it and not fear it once they know how it works, OR they could start using it for their own gain. This was the test, which Harut and Marut warned people about every time someone would come to them. This also makes the most sense, because there would be no purpose for angels to come all the way down to teach the same thing that people are already practicing and learning from the jinn directly, as mentioned earlier in the same verse.

So if the angel had not thaught people of magic, then this problem would not exist? Why would god want to teach people magic even if it is a test? Its like putting s knife in the hand of a murderer and say it is a test. Are you sure you are telling it correctly because it does not make any sense. I am muslim alhamdullilah. Please do not se this as a critique. I am only trying to understand.

I don’t agree with you brother , as you say believing in magic is kufur . According to Bukhari and Muslim magic done on prophet (PBUH) if we believe it we will become kafir , no if we ask magician to do magic then we do kufur.
