HEAT is the greatest film of all-time. It has influenced to outright being ripped off by future films. The wires first season - one of the greatest seasons of television.

The Dark Knight is better than heat. But it's interesting to hear him talk about being inspired by the sound from heat, cause I have always said The Dark Knight has the best sound and audio from any movie ever made.

I also love both these great pieces of art...Heat is always in my top 3 and Wire is one of my all time favorite TV shows they are both just exceptional works of art...we have similar taste and it shows how good those flix are to leave such an impression on both of us! 😊

One advice i would give (as a great filmmaker lol) is that screenwriters who want to be on sets or aspirations of becoming director should start off as assistant director or unit director atleast it gives you some experience without demanding too much expertise

Linguists say on average your accent is cemented around the age of 16, Chris spent his formative years in England and Jonathan in Chicago.

I think there is also about an eight year age difference between the two of them. The family was spending most of their time in the UK when Chris was growing up and then the US for Jona.

Not actually that different from when your parents have a completely different accent from you. Depends on your environment growing up, not your genes.

Why does Chris sound British but Jonathan sounds American?

Obviously lol this shouldn't be headlines it obviously was heavily inspired by it ... I sat inspired loosely cause it was paying homage.

Heat influence was obvious but I've never seen The Wire cited as an influence on TDK. I could be wrong, but I've never seen that connection made personally
