I might sound strange at first, but I think Christian Bale wasn't a very good Batman, but the BEST BY FAR Bruce Wayne! In this trilogy the focus is on the man fighting crime, than it's the suit. Think of i. e. how he was convinced of Harvey Dent and how he supported him. The best Batman might be Michael Keaton.

We Batman fans were so lucky to have Nolan, Zimmer, Bale & everyone else that was involved in the making of The Dark Knight Trilogy. TDKT will forever be my definitive Batman/Bruce Wayne.

A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple, and reassuring, as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders, to let him know the world hadn't ended. *Gordon's scarf then flaps in the wind from the BAT taking off, like a cape

Ra's didn't say become fear though, he said become a legend. It's interesting to notice that Ra's knew from the get go who Bruce was and that his father was one of the main reasons why his plan to destroy Gotham failed. I got the impression Ra's tried to indoctrinate Bruce to his cause while train him. Though Ra's greatly underestimated how much Bruce still adored his parents memory. Let's not forget that it was Thomas Wayne who invested massive amounts of money and tried to save Gotham first. Now burning the city to the ground would mean the exact contrary to what his farther would want. That and the fact that Ra's tried to invoke him into killing led him obviously into one realisation. He could do what Ra's had trained him for..but for the good and by such actually become a legend himself.

It was the great drama that made this Batman so great. Everyone says, "DC go dark," but that was never it. Marvel action-comedies, DC great action-dramas. "Bruce... Son... don't be afraid."

I always loved the way his eyes turn into the "flower effect" eyes at the end of Batman Begins, when his cape pulls him off Raaz after the awesome: "I won't kill you... but I don't have to save you." line. Really still gives Batman a "ethereal" more than just Bruce or a damaged child in there... there's something, someone, else. Raw, powerful, willpower. The one who is truly "the night".

He created a symbol of hope that transcend his own reality.

The rise from 4:20 forward... Always goosebumps

Christian Bale’s Batman and Christopher Nolan’s Soundtrack and Directing together make this trilogy such a masterpiece man!

Emotional, action-packed and surprisingly layered and deep in both plot and metaphor. Those were my favourite things about Nolan's trilogy, and you captured all three perfectly. Gives me goosebumps every time.

Hands down the best music to write too! I keep finding myself clicking back on this video! Best music, seamless transitions and pure hype!

DC doesn't need a DC Cinema, they've got the Dark Knight Trilogy; infinitely superior to the Avengers. Especially since its from Chris Nolan and Hans Zimmer.

The three logos perfectly encapsulate each movie's theme: the bats (fear), the fire (anarchy/chaos), and the crumbling debris (pain).

This and MW3 (MB the Rami Trilogy) were the favorite parts of my childhood

Batman begins was slow in my eyes but dark knight and the last one was quality! Can not beat hans Zimmer music! People forget when watching films that the music plays a vital part to the story line and the pace of the film! I believe we as people have a inner batman within our selves just many choose not to use it and follow the paths of many when really if we stood up to those who do wrong the world would be a better place! THE DARK KNIGHT RISES 🔥

This medley is superb, the way the tracks link is perfect. The way the individual tracks from the soundtracks always cut short and the "good bits" are generally 10 seconds long, this is the exact opposite, allowing ample time for the track to ferment, fixes all the problems.

Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, both, created something iconic, beautiful and timeless.

you can get inspired just by listening the soundtrack.. amazing

its sad how the DCEU will never have a soundtrack as epic as the Dark Knight Trilogy.

All this time I was wondering what it was about batman and especially the dark knight trilogy that spoke to my soul so deeply. I could relate to him but didn’t know why. “Make your fear, fear you.” You have no idea how much this quote opened my eyes! He let his fear take control of him which caused him in losing everything. It changed his whole life. He not only overcame his fear, he became it. Fighting for the good while sacrificing his own mental and physical health. Sometimes even his life. When compared to other super heroes, he is the most realistic and therefore the most relatable one. I’m struggling for almost 15 years with my mental illness. “Make your fear, fear you.” The answer I’ve been searching for so many years and I find it under the comments of a batman soundtrack video. It sounds so simple, I’m almost upset that I couldn’t come up with it myself. I needed to hear this so bad! Thank you very much dear stranger “A hero can be anyone, even someone doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a little boy’s shoulders to let him know the world hasn’t ended.”

@Re Er I suffered with anxiety very bad my senior year of highschool and still manage it to this day. It's nowhere near as bad as it used to be, but back then I was in the most psychologically darkest time in my life. So many intrusive thoughts that caused crippling fear. during that time I watched the Dark Knight Trilogy for the first time. The one scene that really hit deep for me was the scene in batman begins when Bruce climbs into batcave outside of wayne manor. when the bats start flying around him he is at first frightened, but then he calms himself, breathes in and allows the bats to be there and fly around him. He is unafraid. Real power for the mind is to allow the thoughts and anxiety be there and keep moving forward. let it not cripple you by letting it be there as you go on about your day. Turn your fear back on itself. show it that it cant stop you. Then you will truly be invincible. That scene was a great example of exposure therapy for me, and not only that but batmans whole determined warrior mentality also inspired me. a man that can be broken but still find the strength to climb from the depths of a dark prison pit and save his city. theres so many inspirational things to take from the films. I overcame my fears, anxieties, and even heartbreaks in life and i climbed out of my own prison pit and built a much stronger, tougher, and more determined version of myself that I never thought I could. And im still growing. now my fears fear what i have become! I turned the tables on all that once held me depressed in my room. We must seek in life to overcome our fears and climb out of pits that seek to hold us prisoner. Honeslty the only top tier comic book movies are the Raimi Spider-man movies, TDK trilogy, Logan and now Joker. Honorable mentions would be winter solider, iron man 1, X-men DOFP and First class, and Endgame or Infinity War.
