When Joker says “I hated my father”. That camera push in really adds to the intensity of fright on the guys face. Just the little things can do so much

Fun fact: that actor is Senator Patrick Leahy and all the money he made off of this appearance went to charity

And the camera stopping when joker says one day they carve her face to rachel. Adds intensity the same id argue more so
When joker is telling rachel about his wife is such a beautiful scene. I love when the camera spins showing how chaotic his story is and not knowing if it’s real or not. But when it suddenly stops, it seems joker got serious about his wife getting is faced carved. Such a good touch
so what i get from this is the screenplay writers imagined a different order, but heath ledger did his job so well, they didn’t want to cut his parts into bits?? they used raw one shot long takes of him?? so cool man

When I realised this it was like a big brain moment for me
supposedly at 1:59, he was not supposed to grab that actress' face. That's why Maggie is looking around, she's looking to see Nolan.
(starts laughing) (or crying)
The fact that Heath added some extra elements like 'come here , look at me ' , then grab her with a knife , is so menacing. Actors got really scared 😅
brooooo I never noticed him accidentally emptying the glass and then still taking a drink from it. that was so funnyyyyy

thats pretty funny
Please make more videos like this, it's a helpful to acting practice at home
It was always weird that Batman was standing there. Like it is great for a movie scene but just not plausible with Jokers goons or the guests that The Bats would just standing there so timely
The joker is such an interesting character man. There's endless entertainment to come out of that.
Everything with Heath Ledger was incredible, that scene is one of the msot tense in movies ever. I would have only made one change and had him lunge when he says, You have a little fight in you, before Batman says well you're going to love me. But the crazy part is that it's obvious Batman is related to Rachel Dawes someone because he saves her but leaves Joker and his men still up there with everybody. That never really gets resolved 🤣
I shouldn’t have watched this with the closed captioning on. It reads one of Jokers lines unintentionally hilarious. “I stick a raisin in my mouth, and do this, to myself”😂😂
How tf are either of them conscious and intact let alone alive after that fall
Please do the interrogation scene later in the film.
Cris Nolan should be making rajani Kant movies Acting, camera angles and all super .. full blasted .. blasted my mind
Ending sequence. 4K if you could🙏🏿
I just watched Maggie in _Frank_ (2014) and I swear to you she seems like a female Joker. How prescient all this is.
was the shoe knife from kingsman the secret service inspired from this scene?
Are actors allowed to slightly alter the script like that. Theyre on subtle differences but i always thought actors had to do it word for word
Did you know when Heath grabbed Maggie, that was improvised. The way she was looking away, she was actually looking towards the director and producers for help.

It's true, Ledger wasn't supposed to grab her face during the dialogue, and she tried to look at Nolan 2-3 times off-screen to cut. She said it freaked her out so much, and probably also because of the knife prop in his hand. Nolan obviously didn't cut, so this was the end result.
Micheal Caine was supposed to have dialogue in this scene.

So, DID Michael Caine have a line in this scene or is that all just a myth?

It was at the very start when the joker first showed up, I believe it cut off from this video

He did have a line when the Joker enters from the elevator, but it was the first time the entire shoot that he'd seen Ledger in full makeup, and it freaked him out so much that he forgot his line. You can even tell by the look on his face. Needless to say, Nolan kept it.

Why? Because its Batman.
3:53 I never realized it but that’s kinda like a sex scene I guess 😂 they just did it
Jeez - I can't deal with these "mommy never loved me" crybaby characters.
Like Tamil movies. Exaggerated acting. 💩
