InReview should have a 20-30min. segment, where you just let Nick complain and nitpick every little thing to get it out of his system. Sorry Nick, but it's just TIRESOME to listen to you complain for 2 hours about so many non-essential little details. The KFcrew should talk to him about that, because we all know that he doesn't read the comments on YT or reddit. It just brings the whole energy down. Look at Greg and Tims face at 1:19:35. Thats how I felt 90% of the time Nick started complaining. The movie has a lot of flaws (a little overhyped imo), but does way more right than wrong.

Fantastic movie. Ledger is incredible. Some of the unnamed side characters are shockingly bad at acting, and some of the side diologue is cheesy as hell. The sound is also very weird. But Bale is great, lesser is great, Oldman is badass, and Dent (I forget actor's name) is such a compelling character. Ending is still a bit weird to me though.

Tim's "fact" about Joker being the only character to win two Oscars for Best Actor is incorrect. For one, Heath Ledger won "Best Supporting Actor" for The Dark Knight (Joaquin Phoenix did however win "Best Actor" for Joker). Secondly, the character of Vito Corleone from The Godfather franchise has also won two Oscars; Marlon Brando won Best Actor in The Godfather for playing Vito, and Robert De Niro won Best Supporting Actor for playing a young Vito in Godfather part II. This one's a classic, in large part thanks to Heath Ledger. Hard disagree that it should've won Best Picture though. No Country For Old Men hit that year and was a much better movie that coincidentally carried a lot of the same themes. It takes civility/law and natural forces and gives you a nice triangle of outlooks between the characters in respect to how they appeal (or don't appeal) to those things. Beautifully shot (especially those IMAX shots - a bit of an Interstellar situation with the 4K disc where the IMAX shots pop up sporadically and stick out for being exponentially sharper than everything else) and the score is really eerie and restrained. I think Batman Begins is like one big montage with how little room the scenes are given to breathe and how persistent the score is. This movie however establishes settings and characters before they start interacting, dropping music in sparingly by comparison allowing for talents like Heath to really sell what's happening. It's rare for Nolan to get such a captivating performance out of his cast, but scenes from this movie have really stuck with me over time. "You wanna know how I got these scars?" "No, I'm not" "In people's last moments, they show you who they really are..." Great dialogue, legendary performance. Love it, love it, love it!

The depiction of Batman is nifty in Batman Begins - introducing him through the eyes of the baddies he's sneaking up on gives you that fearful impression. But that's what Batman Begins was about. It was important that they hammer that home in that movie. Dark Knight is more of a western, more along the lines of The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

I don't know if you guys have been able to see Tenet yet but my wife and I couldn't hear about 90 percent of the dialogue in the theater. It was rough man from what we got of it though pretty good movie.
