@@funkymunky Thanks for asking, for context my Dad was a Gentle Giant, although he didn't embrace the spiritual as much as others, he had a Stoicism that even my closest friends recognized as "complete control without force". Once confronted by the ultimate truth, death, people change quickly. One day while he was laying there in a half sleep about a week before he died, he woke up and told us there was some one at the door, and "they were coming back for him", I checked the door, no one. Not 30 seconds later the corner of the Chimney fell off the roof. We lived there 32 years, it chose that moment to break off? So the answer to your question, coincidence is an excuse not to believe in God, nothing is a coincidence, the law has been written in Stone, the lowest life form speaks to the highest, every thing you do is recorded, be good. 🦅✨ Condolences for your Mom

Blame the Rothchilds for removing that. I went back to study secondary school in my motherland and they still have the Bible in school along with religious studies. Hells for my uni I needed to finish 6 Religion classes along with religious retreats and recollections. The brainwashin the western public school system did on me was ridiculous and stayed long. By my 3rd uni REED class, the brainwashin started to go away with a simple debate we had in class. Again it is the moral dilemma of abortion. My professor stated all the points, why abort the child when you can give the baby away if you don't want to take care of the baby? Why do you get to choose to unalive the baby if you're scared the baby won't do well in the system? The baby should have a choice too. To dehumanize a person makes it easier to unlaive them. All those strong points literally broke me out of that stupidity. And to this day I'm super grateful towards my professor for waking me up.

It occurred to me that the great grace in everything getting so much worse is that it has become much easier to tell good from evil. We are long past the time for quibbling over terms and splitting hairs. Evil is out there, overt and brazen and sure of itself. In a sense, it has never been easier to be on Team Jesus, though the temporal consequences for not joining the other guy are sharper than before. I am filled with gratitude for my faith and I thank you heartily, Dr. Ashenden, for your insightful and spirit-filled words.

You certainly make a few good points here. You know, about 25 years ago I read an online post by a young woman who had recently been saved out of witchcraft. It all began with books she was given as a child, about faeries. From there the trend followed a curious path of breadcrumbs into a very dark woods, where evil was ever present, and the woman was invited to partake in rites and rituals to serve evil spirits and the dark lord of hell. But what struck me the most of all was when she mentioned that she had become pregnant, and had the child aborted. She wrote, "In my heart I knew that it was another sacrifice." The woman who was telling her story had repented and turned to Jesus for hope and complete salvation, and wrote from that place, with clarity. In all my years I have never witnessed so much confusion in and around politics, gender identities, morality and ethics, and most of all, dark spiritual entanglements. But God is not a passive onlooker. Responses are coming. The question of eternal damnation seems to have been overlooked by almost an entire generation. Eternal death is very real, and I am very saddened by this generation, who has succeeded in becoming most of all lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, and having a form of godliness but denying its power." (2 Timothy 3) I don't wish the terrible torments of hell on a single one of them, but unless they turn away from these things to repent and receive the love and the salvation of Jesus, they will perish.

What do you expect of the generation when they look around and find meaninglessness and hypocrisy everywhere? Absent parents, no future, everything looking dismal. They see the live to work mentality, instead of the work to live. And for the Christians it might be even harder because their leaders have betrayed them. Look at the Pope and what he is encouraging. Look at the Eastern Orthodox patriarchs and all their hypocrisy, particularly "Patriarch" Kyrill who supports the slaughter of brothers in Ukraine, lines his pockets, and lives in a mansion and has a mega yacht. Corruption is rampant and it seems not too many can be trusted these days.

@@scottfw7169 I think that it depends very much on the individual and upon whether or not they have decided to embrace materialism or a culture of self satisfaction, and quite often both. Have you heard of Alan Didio? He was entirely opposed to hearing the Gospel until he received a revelation that he had been fooled into taking this position by the evil entity who is called Lucifer. Then he was able to understand that if satan is real, it follows that the Gospel is real too. And then he chose the better outcome because he did not want to spend eternity apart from God, in a place of torture, pain, loneliness and evil, without end. It seems like a relatively easy choice, but I am fully aware that many people have only had a tepid version of the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented to them, often with hypocrisy or disbelief or mockery. This is the reason why it remains vitally important to share the Good News when the opportunity is provided, particularly to those who Jesus tells us to invite to His feast in Luke 14... "the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame". Those who are poor and who are neglected by most of society frequently understand that the Gospel is a treasure. Even in the book of Job it is written, “Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding. He does not preserve the life of the wicked, But gives justice to the oppressed. He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; But they are on the throne with kings, For He has seated them forever, And they are exalted." Job 36:5-7 I will finish by adding that anyone who is so consumed by pride that they lack the understanding that we are all poor and lonely, that we all need God's love, has been deluded by the biggest lie of all. This lie is the lie that Lucifer in his pride has been clinging to for a very long time. It's the lie that says,"I don't need God, and I deserve the best of everything, in this life and in the next".

I think Jesus if he exists, gave it to us to do the right thing on Earth. Don't be so eager to go to heaven when you can do the right thing on Earth while you still live. That's one of the things that bothers me about Christianity honestly. People are so pre-occupied with heaven they forget about all the crap and filth going on here and do nothing about it. And I'm pointing the finger at all the preachers and street preachers even more-so. People need to come to action against all the corruption and perversity instead of preaching and praying all the time. It's all been heard now.

@@FrostFang86 Jesus is real, he has given me many miracles, both my sons are alive thanks to Jesus, he does answer prayer, I am living proof he does. The world the way it is today is evil, the prophecies of the Bible have come to pass, and along with all the rest there are many false prophets in today's world, but Jesus warned us this was coming. This is why you must read your Bible and study to show yourself approved, pray to God to give you understanding and you will see we are living in the last moments before Jesus coming for his people who are true believers and are led by his Holy Spirit, our comforter. I studied the prophecies since I was 15 years old and am now 65, throughout these years I have witnessed prophecy after prophecy come to pass, jumping out of the Bible and into today's news articles. Literally coming to life. Jesus said, what to watch for before his return for his people, everything he said to watch for is happening now, no longer a future event it is here and now. Matthew chapter 24 is just one place where you can see what Jesus said to look for. The whole Bible is prophecy. Telling us the history and future, God said, from beginning to end he shows us what is to come.

​@@FrostFang86There is where we have two components of the instructions Jesus gave while He was here and what He inspired the Apostles to teach after He ascended. As it is, there is no need to merely "think" Jesus gave it to us to do some things on this Earth, what He said we are to do is noted in scripture. Jesus taught that we are to seek justice and to do good and to be merciful and helpful to the needy and to the suffering. Jesus said outright that believers are to go teach, to make disciples, and to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Jesus taught us to be keeping watch for His return, and for one example said so outright after He taught the parable of the ten virgins and their oil lamps. Jesus described "the end of the age" and the condition, behavior trends, of humanity before He returns & it is going to be rough, with nation, meaning people group, turning against people group & kingdom against kingdom. Jesus said conditions on this Earth and among its people will continue to degenerate until His return. So, what does a believer _Do_ with all those various things? Perfect people in a perfect world would each and every person perfectly balance how all those factors influence and direct their attitudes and actions. This world is not perfect and not a one of us humans upon it are perfect. Therefore, even solid believers are most likely going to do things imperfectly. Which is not saying that being imperfect is the right thing to do, only saying that being imperfect is the most likely thin any given person will be. Secondly, and this is only my experience, your mileage may vary, I see no believer who has forgotten all the ugliness going on here and I do see a number of believers who feel overwhelmed by the increasing quantity and intensity of it. I see believers who are battling so much ugliness and crisis in their own, their family's, life and being that they can only deal with that and have nothing left for being the hero who saves the universe. Or at best they have enough strength endurance and resources to tackle one aspect of one flavor of ugliness in this world.

Amen! I pray for it daily. Something like "Please get us out of here..." It's going to get so much worse before His return, which certainly feels close. I'm grateful to at least not have to witness the very worst that will come, since the Rapture will happen first. Come, Lord Jesus, come! Fix it all!

For what it's worth, a man named Jonathon Cahn wrote a book called "Return of the Gods" that makes the same observations about the wickedness all around us (Dr. Ashenden referemces at 15:14). Even Tucker Carlson stated in an interview that he believes our world is in a deeply spiritual battle against evil.

@@nicechock I have no personal experience with either of these people, and I doubt you do, either, so I won't be so presumptuous as to make such a judgement about their character. In Carlson's case, he was stating his opinion in answer to a question about his thoughts on what is happening in the culture. Are you suggesting that he was lying about his personal opinion? If so, what does he stand to gain from that? I can form an opinion about what these men have said based on information from other sources (including reading Cahn's book) and, as I have said already, will not make a value judgement about either one of them. If you have something substantive to back up your judgement, let's have it.

It's not an attack on the "Judaic roots" though. Abortion is not a matter Jews and Christians agree on. This isn't me being "that guy", even orthodox Jews believe life begins at birth (no joke. They think it's not a person 10 seconds before birth). Why do you think people freaked out so much when Gavin compared it to the Big Bad Thing? Again, I'm not trying to be that guy. Their position on abortion is super public. (Obviously talking about modern rabbinic Jews, not biblical Jews. But good luck trying to convince the form that the latter agreed with us.)

This just popped up and I'm so glad it did, now subscribed. You clarified my thoughts perfectly and added a new spin on it....the gods of old. Yes, they are back. As a mental health therapist for almost 30 years, I agree with you. And my sister, also a therapist, and we are both Catholics since birth, and I, have been talking about this good vs evil. You cannot deny it any longer. When I was younger, I believed there was always a "rational" reason for everything even though I have had several mystical, or supernatural experiences myself. But as for evil, I just wouldn't let myself believe it was real. Oh, it is real. I look at the eyes of pictures of people who have been arrested for horrible crimes and there is something going on there. Or missing. Their eyes have a certain "look". Empty, missing empathy, I can't describe it. I have even had people close to me suddenly get angry at the smallest things, I've been asking, what is going on??? We are sorely lacking in empathy in society right now. Pray for discernment, pray for strength and protection for everyone.

All the more reason why Cardinal Burke's Guadalupe novena starting March 12 is crucial for our civilization. The Dancing Plague instantly reminded me of the dancing hospital staff all over the world during Covid.

I remember a Women's Rights march in Portland where a crowd had blocked a Jeep on the freeway and tipped it over. and smashing all the windows out. ANTIFA marching for Women's Rights. There was a very heavily pregnant women inside the Jeep. Alone, panicked, unable to get any help, no matter who she tried to call. She was on her way to her doctor's office. I'll never forget that. I can't even imagine her terror. I'm sure it made her feel much better knowing all these rage filled people were marching for HER rights, even us they tipped her vehicle over with her and her unborn baby in it. The whole scene brought flashbacks of Sharon Tate's last moments. Honestly the whole era of those riots in Portland were surreal. SO much damage, and people were allowed to attack whoever and whatever they felt like, with nothing more than a lame excuse to pave the way. No punishments were doled out, and the rioters were held up like prize pigs at the state fair. I honestly came to the conclusion, on my own, these people were inhabited by demons.

The irrational hatred for traditionalist society in Russia is found in the UK today at vicious levels and functions on the same lines. It too shies away from calling spades spades.

Scholars with their lieing pens have been excusing all sorts of wrong doing, giving hyper rationalistic explanations. An unhinged trouble maker has a personality disorder or the working classes are been oppressed and exploited etc, etc, etc. The hyper rationalising explanations have eclipsed the need for REPENTANCE.

The Dr’s soft-spoken and soothing parlance calmed me. This is most informative and true.

Praise God that he is giving such discernment about what is happening in Western society to such otherwise differently orientated ministers within the Body of Christ: Jonathan Cahn, an evangelical messianic rabbi (in his 'Return of the Gods') and here to a devout Roman Catholic intellectual holding to rosaries, transubstantiation and all the smells and bells of that persuasion. How true are Jesus' words: 'Wisdom is justified of all her children', spoken when comparing the disparate mnistries of Himself and that of John the Baptist. It is incumbent on all members of the Body to pay strict heed to such unified revelation.

Here in France, earlier this week, a dark week in the history of this decaying country, the "right" to abortion was voted into the constitution. Great rejoicing apparently followed, I heard on the news that the Eiffel tower was specially lit up to mark this wonderful step forward for humanity. According to scripture, Jesus told us outright what the future is going to be like & that it will get pretty dark before He returns and puts and end to the influence of evil. Jesus also told us that even as all that decline is going on we are to try to teach the Gospel and lead people to eternal salvation in Him so that they can be redeemed to an eternal life in a world renewed by Him and forever freed from sin and evil.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world for ruin of souls. Amen.

I've seen this in someone who was close to me, who since getting involved with the environmentalist movement became worse and worse. Towards the end the simultaneous contradictory behaviour of speaking nice whilst acting evil, was very apparent. You are right about it being of a demonic nature because I have witnessed paranormal events throughout my life related to this. Ive had to cut them off and am healing from has felt like a very real encounter with a dark force working through them.

This is going to sound crazy, I work in health Care. I felt an extreme darkness fall across the planet in 2020. I have come to belive and its just my opinion, but i think they, did actually open a portal , with the Cern Collider and all sorts of entities, from the lower Astral plane, did fllod in and attach themselves to any and every person, that was susceptible. Which to my shock and horror, is an extremely high number.

Doesn't sound crazy at all, however I noticed it happening just all of a sudden in September of 2019. All of a sudden one day something very off feeling came over me and since that time nothing has been the same. Church has been infiltrated by marxists and they have already destroyed it from within. The Roman Catholic Church is gone forever. We need to turn to the Jesus and his teaching in the Bible. It’s good to see a Man of God with Doctor in his title. After been locked up for my confession in a mental ward. After been afflicted by God almighty I left Nursing. I didn’t see any good in what was been done anymore. I lost confidence in the Doctor's who were taking orders from this Beast health service. I was threatened with mind altering drugs because of my Faith and experiences. I won’t take that medicine, therefore I wouldn’t administer it to anyone either 🙏✝️

The first point of survival outside of the womb is 22 weeks, which have very slim chances of living more than a few weeks, or not being disabled if they can live for longer than that due to how severely and extremely underdeveloped and premature they were born. Furthermore, a 5 week old fetus is NOT in any way comparable to a 5 month old one, and the striking majority of abortions happen in the first trimester, so your point is moot. Being pro-forced pregnancy and forcibly carrying a miscarriage until dying of sepsis is NOT being “pro-life” at all, it’s punishing women for a man’s sin of ejaculating inside of them, regardless of if the woman had consented to that or not.

The gravity of sin, especially sodomy, is not being taught from the leadership in the church. They are negligent in care for our souls. We cannot give the impression that anything like that is ok. Souls perish after this life because no one warns them, and people don't understand the gravity of sin.
