Can’t imagine what it would be like to be saved from certain death - the relief of being helped onto the dock at the end - this is an amazing story told by the guy who made the rescue happen- crazy.

I'm so very grateful I found that interview. Took a lot of digging. So amazing to hear the story told by the hero BM1 Webber himself.
I remember a story my Dad told me where he was thrown out of a boat and the sea tossed him back in... God works in mysterious ways. These men who did this rescue are true hero's!!

It really was just incredible! Check out this one. During my time this was the most insane thing I've ever seen. Litterly a 100 foot plus wave knocked a helo from the sky while lifting the second to last crewmen off, and broke the ship in half with the rescue Swimmer and captain on the bow.
