ngl when I first saw the piece I was a little sad because I love the 80s more than mid century but when you finished it, it looked even more 80s and I LOVE IT. One of the best flips I've seen for ages!

I am SHOCKED that they let a man in one of these vids. I would have put those legs so that the angle would have been flush with the profile and I would have been WRONG, great job! I was like, "dude, move those legs out 6 inches and paint them gold". NOPE! That finish looks more durable than the original, is it? WOW, I am most impressed, not surprised it sold so quickly. Congrats, and I am subscribing now, you could teach me allot.

This is amazing! My favorite furniture to flip is 80’s and 90’s and then give it a MCM vibe. I love that you put the legs more towards the center. It gives it a true retro look!

3 minutes in and you are removing that skirt, and reusing the not bad at all hardware. I like already. Can anybody tell me why clunky, heavy, frumpy furniture was ever a thing? Great piece to redo as well, pressed board with plastic veneer, certainly a "paintable" project.

@@LemonstoLemonadeFurniture It can happen for me like that sometimes, this was just genius. I mentioned to somebody else that I don't LOVE the color, BUT, like black or white, this would fit with most color schemes. It would fit right into MY house! Again another wise move. Too many of these pieces attract too much attention to themselves, like the Barbie Pink monstrosity. Most people WILL consider how it will look with what they already have. Actually 700 is MUCH too low for this, but hey, you made a profit. I would have been tempted to make this ultra high gloss, what do you think? Maybe even like an auto mirror finish?

Okay I am obsessed with this color and I’ve been trying to find it in the chalk paint finish but it doesn’t seem to exist? Did you use something to make it a chalk paint or did you buy it as a chalk paint?

We use sherwin williams chalk paint in the color reddened earth. I buy it directly at their store.

I got it at Sherwin Williams store. I asked for their chalk paint in Reddened Earth. Call some stores around your area to see who carries it. Not all of them do. Cheers!

Hi Sheri- driving around locating great finds, negotiating price, lugging them in and out of the trunk, coffee helps. Scraping off old gum from old dresser drawers, stripping paint, cleaning, sanding and cleaning again...coffee helps. Late night painting sessions, coffee helps. Staging, photo props, lights, camera, action-coffee helps. Selling, negotiating, delivering...coffee helps. 16 hours of editing videos to put together a 12 min furniture flipping video to help others make a side business or a little extra change in their pocket or refresh an old, well loved piece...coffee helps. Getting sweet responses from people who enjoy the free content and ask, since I live too far from you to buy a piece, how else can I support your channel?.....coffee helps. Have a nice day!

I am not crazy about that color either, but they were smart. It will go with most other colors. I don't hate it, but I could see it really in any color, it is a very strong design. They have talent AND brains. It is really "terra cotta", great decision.

@@rockshot100 lol yep. it is not a color I would use normally BUT it is a hot color for this year PLUS the MCM fad, it was a no brainer on this one. I knew someone would snap it up!
