No it isn't. He's only just got the job. Margarethe was well into her eighties and had been on the throne for 52 years. Baldy is going to have to wait another while for the top job.

I had to laugh when the little dig was made about the Danish Royal Family spending so much less than their British counterparts on the running of the Institution, no surprises there. Denmark is a Country of between 5/6 million people. The British Royal Family Reigns in a Country of 80 plus million people, and that is not counting the Commonwealth, and other Realms and Territories. So, obviously, the British Monarchy is always going to cost more, no more than having a President, probably more to run a Presidential system, plus, a President isn't above politics!

The British RF dont rule the Commonwealth! They all have to be democracies. Its an alliance between the nations. They have schemes and projects in each others countries.

Danish moarchy goes back to the viking age. even ruled england under Knud den Store (Cnut the Great)

There are TEN hereditary monarchies in Europe (7 kingdoms, 2 principalities, 1 duchy). The Danish monarchy is the oldest, the UK Monarchy second oldest, Sweden the third oldest, and so on.

Queen Mary is very beautiful!! More beautiful in terms of character,the princess of Wales is way way behind her . Princess Catherine is a snub and pretentious woman while Queen Mary is beautiful inside and out
