I got my first cat from Craigslist. I was looking for a cat and just browsed Craigslist for fun, cause I planned on adopting from a local shelter. There I saw a warning posted on Craigslist saying that some guy was taking free pets (small rodents to kittens and puppies) and killing them or feeding them to his snakes or something like that. I freaked out and looked around to make sure I could notify anyone who was giving their pet for free, and that’s when I saw my first cat. He was a baby, he was the only cat for free in my area, + extended miles. So I ended up adopting him to protect him

I think I've heard of that case. There was a case in Idaho in 2015 where a guy had his car advertised for sale. Two cretins arranged to see it, then shot him dead for no reason. They decided that day they wanted to see how it felt to kill someone.

The fake craigslist ad for the r### one happened to me as well. It wasn't on craigslist but my old best friend had went and put all my info on porn sites knowing that I had baby siblings in my house. Thankfully I only got a text from someone on the site who gave me a link to it so I could report it and press charges, but it was terrifying. I have young siblings and at the time the youngest was around 6-8 years old.

I've had an older man message me before when I was around 19 to help him with a personal house cleaning service. The pay he was offering was UNBELIEVABLE, I was seriously thinking about doing it but backed out last minute. Who knows what would've happened if I would've taken that job! 😳

so basically one time, a man went on craiglist and bought something but when he went to the house to pay for it, 2 men jumped out of bushes and attacked him. the man almost died and he got rushed to the emergency room. thankfully he survived cause my mother was the one who took very good care of him in the hospital. my mom is a hero!

Ironically, in 2008, my mom found our previous landlord on Craigslist as a last resort and he ended up being our landlord for 10+ years. He never raised the rent, was very reasonable, and helped repair a lot of stuff himself, as he was a handyman. We only had to move cause of the housing market stuff going on right now and he wanted to sell the house, but he was honestly great. So Craigslist isn't all that bad, but I genuinely would not trust it, especially considering this entire video and that it was a last resort for housing back in 2008 lol

I am glad that dude got 23 years in prison, I know that in most places the punishment for animal abuse is only 1000 dollar and 150 hours of community service aka picking up trash on the side of the road At least this guy got punished

But seriously, tuv, Nexpo, ReignBot, and very few others, actually show respect for the victims whereas sadly a lot of true crime content is just trivializing and making these horrific crimes a fun novelty. Final thought, please put warnings if animal/child abuse is involved; I'll admit I am a huge wuss when it comes to those things, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
