The biggest upset in sports history is that AJ turned out to be an awesome guy

Yeah he seems legit . I like that he’s humble in a way
AJ is that kid in high school who you think is a douchebag until u talk to him and realize he’s a pure beauty
Before I watched the doc I rolled my eyes at this kid. After watching it, and now especially listening to this podcast, FUCKING LEGEND
Wingfield was on pace for 28 goals and 700 pims in an 80 game season
Aj seems like a really dope and humble dude

AJ needs a podcast. He is very genuine. I shared the documentary with my Italian family in Philly, and they were hooked too. Can’t wait for more.
AJ needs to have a podcast.What a personality 😛
AJ is actually a likeable guy
Congrats on the TNT deal biz
Chad Wagner definitely was not all there upstairs. His hockeydb page says he had 112 penalty minutes in 12 games...in a roller hockey league. Jesus.

AJ Galante is an absolute legend. Box office. Love his style and delivery. Thank you for this interview!
aj was a great interveiw great guy to listen too and i was not expecting it loved it
Best documentary ever! How A.J is not a gm in a league somewhere is baffling
Both unreal guests. Could listen to their stories all day
Aj is the man, such a humble guy
Aj is nothing what I thought he would be, what a great guy, amazing show 10/10

I agree - the first few minutes of the documentary I thought i was going to hate him - and it turned out he is very charming. You can't not like him if you give it a chance
id do anything to relive that Kalamazoo Wings vs Dandbury Trashers rivalry back in 2006.
Winger was my hockey camp coach Lmao!
I think this might be one of my favorite episodes. Both interviews were so damn good. Galante and Winger were Awesome!
Yes for sure I could see why pops trusted him to run the team…….. Very smart cool ass dude!!!! Legends!!!! AJ props
was pretty cool, i was in danbury this past weekend with my son who plays 8u hockey, seeing the arena and where all of this took place,
I'm from New Zealand we don't have hockey here the closest I'd come to seeing a game was watching the movie GOON. that Netflix documentary and the awesome show and hard work from AJ and the team has me addicted to hockey now . Keep kicking ass AJ .
You have to invite both A.J and Winger to some Sandbagging Golf !!!!
Excellent interview!!!!!!
I watch this episode every couple months. winger and Aj were awesome guests. Having the fighters on the podcast are my favorite guests
This is gold! That Netflix doc is the best one ☝️ salute!
Great episode, guys. Thank you.
Great episode , great stories , greatest era of hockey , great game on earth !
this has been the best interview on chicklets in a loooong time. i only watch chicklets for the most part for these interviews. the hockey world is so wild and the best stories come from guys like wingfield
Fantastic hockey documentary, we were AA travel hockey parents for 11 years and this documentary brought back the physical contact we loved in pro hockey, kudos to GM and T BONE
We need a chiclets x trashers merch line
Thanks Winger!
Shoutout to Brad Wingfield!!!
So many memories with Mirasty with the Syracuse Crunch. Absolute beast.
Yo, I just watched the documentary and I knew immediately that I had to get more information. lol, this was awesome.
the boys about to make bank pushin out trashers merch through the barstool machine
After watching the doc 2x and the pod. He seems like a good kid. Can you imagine the pressure. Not only from his family background school and college. Man that’s a lot regardless of money
Loved the documentary on Netflix and loved this boys👍
Pumped for this.
It had to be the best year of this guy AJ life
So surreal hearing all this stuff about the Trashers. I grew up probably 20-30 minutes from Danbury. A Trashers game was one of the first 'pro' hockey games I ever went to. Then I remember when they got shut down. Crazy stuff.
Best interview hands down! Winger the beaut!!!!
The best part is wingers portable grower in the back corner guys a Canadian legend now
One of the best podcasts of the whole show
I started that documentary HATING A.J. for all of the obvious reasons, and felt confused when I found myself genuinely liking him by the end of the movie.... And Im not confused anymore, A.J is cool shit. Great dude!

Watched the documentary on Netflix. Was awesome!!
I was the starting pitcher. Loved that answer!
I love this. It's like VH1 behind the music, chiclets edition
Regarding the "who ratted?" question. Several years later Danbury has the Whalers, a Single A level team. An ex Trasher player was on the visiting team. Holy shit, one of the funniest / clean chirps I ever heard from Section 102 (paraphrasing): "Hey _____, I heard you were the one who ratted on Jimmy because he actually made you work on the back of the garbage truck."
Unbelievable boys, the greatest buncha lads ever
This episode is a masterpiece! Instant classic
EPIC!!!
Aj and his crew gotta make a comeback and own another team such beutys they are
Watching Brad Wingfield and Geoff Bumstead (The Bruise Brother) in Corpus Christi was unbelievable. Remember winger got kicked from a game and came out and signed autographs with broken knuckles. Guy would come out of locker room and drink beers with the fans
Funny, we were watching Mirasty fight vs Animal today in the locker room after the beer league game
Lovin this shit!! AHL P Bruins season ticket 05 lockout. Thanks for the memories Colton Orr, et all.
Glad he brought up Gerry Hickey one of my favorite players in junior
Toughest kids are ALWAYS from Saskatchewan, i used to watch Stephen Peat vs Kris Mallette at the crushed can toe to toe unreal scraps,Mirasty also played for MJ hailing from Saskatchewan

Danbury is Hockeytown USA. I say that as a former season ticket holder. That place was HELL for opposing players.
The way he says georges lol
1:24:15 RIP Gerry Hickey...solid player and great guy
Daoust had some great seasons in Norway. Cult hero here in stavanger
This was the best lol
Madness. This would have been a great storyline in The Sopranos.
You all getting honorary Canadian citizenship, damn good hockey guys
I watched it today and immediately went to ebay. Game worn jerseys selling for $5k
Aj is a dope ass dude
I need a Danbury Trashers hoodie!
This AJ is way cooler than soprano AJ
Go CT!
show me the timeline where biz plays for the trashers plz
27:19 damn did I just hear that?
I live near St Louis and we had the Missouri River Otters, and they only played the Trashers once over their two seasons and it was here in Missouri. Only one fight, Wingfield went after and beat up Matt Suderman and did the heavyweight belt motion, it's like dude you fought Matt Suderman he's not really a fighter lol. Too bad the Trashers didn't come along a few years sooner, the River Otters had some great fighters. With Brosals office right there in St Charles Missouri, I dont think he wanted to schedule a gong show right there in the league headquarters backyard. The lockout year the Otters had a bunch of St Louis Blues players and I'm sure Brosal didn't want those guys having to play Danbury.
I may have been mentioned in this podcast lol

Thinkin Stephen Peat was definitely the guy who used AJs mom's laptop - Anaheim draft pick lol
Best interviews ever ( there’s a dateline about that hockey player that killed his wife small world )
Garrett Burnett played for the Trashers and the Ducks lol
Danbury thrashers are danbury hatricks now and they are 20 min from my house
