You Aussies *HATED* dame Edna, that's the hard truth, so do not come here and want credits for reconsidering after she/he had become an international superstar. That does not fly. Humphries did go on record several times explaining how nasty Australians was about his work, for decade after decade, ripping on Les & Edna. How his characters gave Australia a bad name. Still he will be missed all over the world... Aussies just can't get a redo of all the filth given to him, now that he sadly died. The man was a legend. Can't rewrite history mate.

I am so saddened by the loss of Dame Edna. I saw her show first when I lived in England. Just such a comic loss.

I love that they both have a little try to out wit Edna …….never gonna happen

... possibly the only comedian who always made me laugh...

This is when David tried to outsmart Edna and all she did was tilt her head and smile and David shat himself and understood immediately that you dont call Dame Edna a man in a dress because she's not! !? She's s a character who's a woman with an entire life and back story and guests understand theyre there to be destroyed in a tasteful way

I initially also thought the same..... but if you listen carefully at 10:19 secs (I re-wound it several times including at .75 speed) he actually says SHE. Walliams is a profesional and I felt he would not make such a blunder.

He was fantastic and will begreatly missed. I could watch his shows all day and laugh out loud constantly.

Great memories this episode has for me. I was in the audience and went backstage afterwards as my now wife was the make up artist on this and it constituted my our second date so I remember it all very well. Highlight was getting to meet Debbie Harry. Went to the filming of all episodes after this one. Thanks for uploading.

it would be nice if ITV screened this series again - I think they should as we do not know how long we wil have Sir Les in this world. It wasn't his best interview series, agreed, but still contained some hilarious interviews nevertheless. It wasnt really given a chance i think cos at this time in the late 2000s, the X Factor's and Big Brother's had taken over our viewing habits.

The most talented comedian that ever was in my opinion. Nobody has ever made me cry laughing other then Dame Edna. One of the true geniuses. Funny isn't something you can learn, you're either funny or you are not.

Dame Edna has a wonderful personality and a good sense of humor. My mother and enjoyed her shows.

Anytime I'm a bit blue, I come to watch the part where Dame Edna reminds Peirs Morgan he's a piece of trash... I hope the clip comes up in his feed regularly because it's as true today as it was back then.

Just for those who didn't know Robin Gibb from the bee gees wrote the theme song... and as always edna quick as ever👍

Look at 6:20. Dame Ednas laugh is so infectious that the audience and David Walliams start to laugh themselves!

Bliar obviously fooled a lot of people back then, even some quite intelligent ones as shown here. Funny enough Bliar didn't fool me, the Dame would have said. Bless her soul.

Piers got the living shit kicked out of him by Dame Edna. It was wonderful to watch. And the high-point was the Dame's utterly perfect response to Piers' claim of liking to inspire strong reactions. She just eviscerated him.

My gardeners are extremely talented. I am lucky to know them.
