It’s BS frfr…. The Thunder only went from being the 10th seed last season to the 1st seed (really 3 seed tbh) bc of Chet!!! Not the coach & not SGA. SGA’s stats this year are identical to his stats last year. MVP is an individual award that’s what I don’t understand all the hype about him deserving the MVP bc of the Thunders seeding. Y wasn’t he so deserving of the MVP last season w/ the same stat line? Again Chet is the reason they won more games this year. He was the difference between the two seasons. That said… J KIDD should’ve won Coach of the year & Luka should be the MVP. Those two alone are the reason the Mavs were even in playoff contention approaching the trade deadline! KAI was hurt, so was Exum, Lively, Green, Maxi, THJ, Grant Williams was not living up to his own hype or our expectations but somehow Luka & Kidd willed this team to wins. Before the trade deadline the Mavs didn’t even have any 5 guys on the team that played more than 100 minutes together! The national media has too much influence on who gets these awards. Ion understand it. They don’t even do real journalism, everything is sensationalism so ho can they be trusted to vote on these awards based on journalism, research, and facts? Shit is crazy

Dallas this playoffs: Lose one, Win TWO. Not losing gm 6. Wolves stretching Nuggets to 7 tonight. Gives Luka a little extra rest.

0:59 Love this move by Luka. He leans in for contact then starts to move away like he’s going for a step back. As soon as the defender starts to move toward him again to challenge his shot, he immediately leans back in to draw the foul while almost always getting a clear shot to make it a three point play. I wish I had moves like this along with the Eurostep and Ant’s super slow Eurostep in my arsenal back when I played. Young kids today need to put in the time to master these moves and dominate their junior high, high school, or rec league.

What I think is I so much appreciate reporting/commentary like this over the idiots of smith/perkins/barkley/shaq/green etc, etc. Thank you for putting this together. SUSCRIBED!

Offensively, PJ and DJJ are products of the Luka effect. All the attention Luka gets allows them to work with minimal opposition. Defensively, those two guys are playing so well it’s forcing Luka to buy in on playing defense too.

I rewatched highlights of the game 7 vs the Suns 2 years ago, and this team is much more of a team than that one and it isn't even close. We won that game with Luka being on a heater and that's nice but the movement and secondary options now are far better. This team has a chance to do something special.

What i really like about this dallas team is that we have so many role players that can step up big time. If kai and luka is not shooting well, we have PJ. If pj is not scoring, we got Josh Green and Timmy. We also have DJJ. It is insane. Imagine if we had a game where every single one of our guys played their best. They've proven already a few times this post season they can just without provacation or reason not show up. Knee pain will make you play worse than youre capable of. It will affect all parts of his game. Last night he was playing like he was pain free. Either he suddenly was healed or had an injection for the pain. Not saying he did anything wrong. Just thinking.

Put ur head down until the job done. Mavs too easy to relax, g4 is a good example.

Easy! Mavs in the playoffs lost 1, won 2, lost 1, won 2, lost 1, won 2, lost 1 and now have won 1 and going on 2 on Friday..... i detect a pattern.... Mavs in 6!!! Meanwhile, i get pretty disgusted with some of the criticism i have heard about the Mavs.... Luka has not been at 100% and neither has Ky, yet both of them have put their stamp on this series....not a game goes by that i don't see excellent passes that are re-passed to the next guy, or all the tips on the ball that cause turnovers... or simply facing up on great shooters and just stay active in front..... and none of those things have a stat associated with it..... one stat that tells more than most is the over/under... like for Game 5, D-Live topped all players with a plus 22..... All things being said, i think the one word that jumps out at me about the Mavs is "Chemistry".... part of that comes from Nico and Jason assembling a team in Kidd's own image.... These guys really are unselfish in how they play, almost to a fault at times by taking that extra pass....and they always stay active and focused on the floor..... looking forward to putting Jokic in his place next......

If you watch the game you should seen that only helps send your team mate to the FT line, this would be a different story if we end up losing like last one... Remember how we lost G4? When you are a superstar, you should step up and carry the team when needed... I don't have good feelings about this on our next match up... Nuggets or T.wolves ain't gonna let you win when your second superstar keep scoring 9 points and 12 points per game...
