Yep I think a bowl should become standard in keeping NC geckos.

Seasonally yes! Funny you ask….They just came back. 🫤

@@geckocove I’m curious to know if you freeze the Pangea if it would kill the eggs. Have you ever tried that? Or know if anyone who has?

@@TJHutchExotics do you think the eggs are in the mix? I think the flies come from your environment but just thrive on the fruit mix.

@@geckocove my theory is that there are eggs in the mix that hatch after rehydration- but just a theory.

@TJHutchExotics I'll put my opinion on your theory if you don't mind 😂. I had never seen a fruit fly in my room or my house... all 27 years in there... i got a gargoyle gecko about a month ago and I saw a fruit fly in the enclosure yesterday. I like the theory that eggs might be in the diet. I can't see any other reason why there would be flies in my room now.
