He's so kind in comparison to a lot of ancient leader Gods. Even Odin kept more to himself, and Zeus was trash. He was gentle and loving, yet fierce against his enemies.

At 3:34 I really thought you were going to get into an offshoot lore called the "Danu-Dagda". The embodiment of both the male and female gods as one binary state, simultaneously. Somewhat like the trinity of Christianity and then say, "But that's for another video."

the trinity is way older but sorry the dagda is the son of danu and his sibling brie also are but personifications of the mother in differnet forms

It is also interesting that he is paired with Nuada (Nodens) and Ogma (Ogmios) and may be a triplicite deity, he is again paired with Ogma elsewhere indicating he is at least a dual deity according to Daithi O hOgain and Whitley Stokes. A bit like how Julius Caesar implies that Lugus (Lugh) or the Gallic Mercury is Chief god of Gaul and Lucan calls the Chief Gods of Gaul Esus, Teutates (Toutatis) and Taranis (Tuirenn/Taran) with no mention of Lugus who as Gallic Mercury is depicted sometimes as three faced thus perhaps they make up Lugus in the Gallic pantheon as theorised by Ludwig Rubelkeil. especially as Triplicism is common in Irish Mythology e.g. the Birth of Cu Chulainn, the three fathers of Lugaid Riabh nDerg and so on. He may also be linked to the Gallic Sucellos who carried a hammer and pot remniscent of the Dagda's Club/Mace and Cauldron and the Dagda fought a sea monster with it not unlike Thor with Jormungandr which would possibly link him to a obscure Welsh counterpart Mellt which is cognate with Norse Mjol as in Thors Hammer Mjolnir, due to his son Angus Og being the Irish cognate of Welsh Mabon fab Modron here under a matronym, who may be the same figure as Mabon fab Mellt his possible patronym. Furthermore his son Donn may be an epithet of his originally as Donn is sometimes called the Dagda Donn. A good way of explaining this is done by Overly Sarcastic Productions on Hermes and his "son" Pan. All we can definitely say is the composite characteristics of the Dagda are significantly old like very old in origin.

I am eclectic I "learn" multiple guides the dagda being one I like Oden and thor for the battle within and to protect anyone who needs it I also like the morrigan and hekate. But I'm mostly into alchemy strip it all away and it's all just alchemy, sacred geometry. I have celtic and norse ancestry.

Zeus is nothing compared to Dagda. Zeus was a rape fetishist and extreme misogynist. Dagda was kind and loving to women and loyal to his wife Morrigan.

@@BiohazardBunney Interesting theory on Zeus, but I suggest you (re)study the Irish mythology,as the Dagda was not as faithful to his wife/lover Morrigan as is portrayed,as the latter was described as 'envious',while he was, also with Boann, with whom he had (A/O)engus. The Dagda, also had a number of other children, who made up,the Tuatha-De-Danann pantheon, but I generally prefer the Morrigan.
