Our volunteer photographer Brad captures the antics of our youngest koalas in our Koala Kindy - where the joeys learn how to be koalas - climbing, jumping, eating leaves and rough-housing it seems with each other too. Looks like Emerson loves to play with Kelso nipping his arm - like real brothers!

Fun fact -
A koala is a tree-dwelling marsupial, native to Australia. Marsupials, a subset of mammals, are unique in that they give birth to a very undeveloped young called pinkie, which is nursed in the very special pouch on their belly. Like the Virginia opossum in the US - only waaay cuter!
